Politics in this city are far from perfect, and I don't count myself as a huge fan of the mayor and his administration, but DD is just a cess pool.  These people need more healthy outlets for their dissatisfaction with the political status quo.

Here is a point ... does it matter that she is divorced ... that's unfortunate that she is divorced ... and if she is dating Danny from Clarks Green ... what does that have to do with the price of tea in china ... so I guess what I am trying to say here is ... so what if she spends some time in Clarks Green ... she is an adult woman ... if she is dating Danny and spends the night there from time to time ... how is that the busines of any of them ... and is it written somewhere in the Rules of Council that Sherry is to only date men from Scranton ... and spend every night in her own home?


What is the big deal if she is selling her home is another point to make (I do not know if she is selling)... maybe she has to sell it as a part of her divorce ... that's something that is very common ... a lot of people end up having to sell their homes as a part of a divorce.


Sam I also am glad that you woke up and smelled the and nobody here expects that you have to be a fan of the Mayor or any other politician for that fact ... we can agree to disagree and still remain civil and friends ... that's the differenct between PD and DD ... we are civilized here and open to suggestions ... I'm putting this out there this one time.  I better not see one more of those rat bastards parked near my house or walking past my house looking for dirt in my neighborhood.  Yeah - it's a free country and there is such a thing as free speech, but you ****ers better not infringe on MY ****.  I see you again and you'll have ME to deal with - not some pussy politician.

I am going to presume you are posting this comment here but that it is directed at the DD mob.


 


I would personally call the police each and everytime anyone caused me to be concerned that they were spending too much time watching my house or person.  After a few calls I am sure the police would become quite impatient with that person and issue a citation. At that point a Judge could issue a order to stay away. If that order were to be violated they would then find their butt in jail or fined.   I could live with that. 


 In all seriouness though, if you belive you are in fact being watched or stalked I strongly suggest calling the police.  Your safety is most important please do not take any chances.

You know what Anonymous ... your safety is your main concern and I have to agree with IHave, please call the police when you see these people watching ... they have no right ... I don't know who you are and to me it's unimportant who you are ... but in my opinion they do not have the right to do this to anyone ... not even a politician ... for your own personal safety and the safety of your family please call the police!

I think this Eddie Haskell guy makes a lot of sense ... I do have to say if I were Sherry or Judy I think I would have went through with the charges of Harassment ... only I would have included Granma (how's life in the Hollow Granny ... you and Nobody getting along with your neighbors yet?) in the charges ... see I don't think they like it when you know a bit of information on them ... and they may claim that they are not public officials ... And they are right but they have made themselves public figures ... just like we have done here ... but that's OK ... they can write what they like about me ... it would be such a boring book.  So anyway here are the posts that brought me to this post:

I don't think so ... and another thing that bugs me about this particular post ... You were a Gary supporter ... as were Granma and Nobody ... and that is OK ... I was not ... but I never saw such a bunch of sore losers in my life ... are you kidding to be carrying on for over a year ... Lets all grow up. 
 
I think you need to talk to the Head Ass in Charge of DD ... let it go ... you will feel so much better when you all let your anger go and try to be civil ... it's amazing how much you can accomplish when you go into a situation with a level head ... I'm not trying to tell you all that you have to love the Mayor and Council members other than Janet Evans ... I'm just saying try a little experiment ... use some tact and civility ... see what it gets you ... I always knew there was a reason why I would never get into public service...and this thread clearly identifies it.  Sadly, I'm more in the camp of 'Anonymous' on this one...while I am definitely a lover (not a fighter), I could see being driven to extreme rage if someone were stalking me or a member of my family.  So God truly bless Chris Doherty (and family), Judy Gatelli (and family), Sherry Nealon-Fanucci (and family) and everyone else who is a TARGET of the DD crew.  The things they have to endure as public servants goes beyond the mere call of duty. 


As a side note, I've been out of town this week, and I spent a few minutes watching the local governmental access channel on TV.  Guess what?  I didn't see anyone foaming at the mouth while speaking at a city council meeting.  No people wearing silly-ass 'Paranoid-R-Us' tee shirts.  No union officials accusing a standing mayor of fraud.  Yes, Scranton is truly on the cutting edge...the cutting edge of lunacy when it comes to the conduct of some of its citizens.

I am the anonymous poster from the other day.  Somebody made a comment about givng up privacy when they get elected.   I AM NOT A PUBLIC FIGURE AND DONT APPRECIATE HAVING YOU PEOPLE TRAIPSING THROUGH MY YARD, AND PARKING AT MY HOUSE JUST SO YOU CAN TRY TO GET DIRT ON SOMEONE UP THE STREET.  I recognize your face but I don't know your name.  If I see you again, I will call the cops.  Oh yeah and stop dropping your trash out your window for me to clean up - when I find out who you are, you'll find it on your porch.


Thanks to those people for the comments.  It didn't get to a point where they harass me, but coming into my yard and leaving their trash in the street is pissing me off.

Eddie Haskell was my new DD persona.  Eddie's been "given the business" by Lumpy Pilchesky over at DD and already been banned.


He deleted my post in response to the smoking ban.  I'm for the smoking ban, and simply pointed out that if Janet Evans was behind the ban, they would be singing its praises.  That type of freedom of speech isn't allowed over there.

Those people over there are a boil on the arse of this city.  We are a laughing stock to everyone in this area, yet they revel in it.

and Sam I know how it feels to be banned over and over .... but I look at it this way if he keeps banning me then I must be doing something right! I should have know it was one of our PD level headed free thinking posters ... Good Job!

There is a scene in the second (I think) season of The Sopranos* that the Paul post reminded me of...

...Tony Soprano's crew is in a meeting with a big-time Rap Star and his 'posse', heatedly arguing over music royalties (and how the mod stole them from recording artists in the past...). Just when you think things are going to get violent and guns drawn, the Rap Star gets right in Tony's face and says something to the effect that "....well I'm just going to have to call my lawyer then...".

I imagine that's how a REAL Pilchesky confrontation would go....except of course Pilchesky would be representing himself. Pilchesky a tough guy? I think not...what kind of man picks on ladies, allows the children of elected officals to be 'outed' and condones/encourages insanely horrible rumor mongering? The man is a sheep in wolves clothing.

I agree.  Especially when Joe always claims to be "for the children," especially with his South Side Complex crusade...claiming that they're taking away a park from the children.  I really don't ever recall driving by the complex and seeing children playing there....its usually just the adult softball leagues.  And the complex itself is run down, and I wouldn't have let my dog play on the dangerous playground equipment there, nevermind my kids.


If Janet Almighty rather than Chris Doherty had proposed selling the complex, Joe would be placing a positive spin on it.  Its all about his witchhunt against Doherty, he needs to stop pretending its about anything else, especially kids.  Because if it was up to them, we wouldn't have playgrounds for kids at Nay Aug or anywhere...the DD people would rather the money be spent on lucrative contracts for city employees.  They would step all over the kids of this city if it meant returning the unions to the place of running the show in Scranton.


What a bunch of hypocrites.  Glad I woke up and smelled the   There was a time when i thought that his site was a legitimate place to talk about and even gripe about things that need to be changed in Scranton....bit now the smoke screen has cleared and its obvious its all about Joe, and of course furthering Janet Almighty and the unions' political crusade.
