I am genuinely curious about Mr Pilchesky's 'Serial Plaintif' status. Can anyone fill in some blanks for me?

1. Does he always act as his own attorney?
Note: I think it was Abraham Lincoln who once said, "A man who is his own lawyer has a fool for a client."

2. He has never won any of this cases, correct?

3. Has he ever been counter-sued by any of the people he targets?

4. How long as he been a semi-professinal plaintif?

Yes Ag I do believe that he always acts as his own lawyer ... from what I have ever read on DD.


And according to Joe ... he has not lost the cases (in my world that means I did not win) he has just been found not to have Standing.


I don't believe that he has ever been counter-sued because I do think if someone bit him back ... he would not be so quick to file thes crazy lawsuits of his.


I heard from someone that knows him that he has been a serial plantif since the late 70's early 80's (at least that's when they know of the beginning) when he sued the Little League of North Scranton.  But again I am not sure when it all began.

Damn, sueing Little Leaguers, now that's classy.

Thanks for the information Lus. Mr Pilchesky apparently loves being on the dishing out end of this abuse of the legal system, but you wonder how much of it he could take himself. It's one thing to fill out a few forms, pay a hundred bucks and march down to the courthouse, but it's another actually have to defend yourself in open court against someone who is a professional (a.k.a. an attorney).

By the way, the answer to my third question basically debunks the whole IRC (damn, I meant ICN) paranoid-fueled myth...if there was this grand cabal in Scranton with all this power, would they have not already taken this guy to court to shut him up?

It isn't so obvious now, but when I first stumbled upon his Chumster board and his Deceit website, I found his postings to be extremely eratic.  Looking at that site with a fresh eye and reading from the very beginning (December '05) up to the current stuff, it was obvious what zealots these people are. Mind you, there were no-holds-barred on the Chumster board.  Each and every poster went from one extreme to the other - especially their dear admin.


I remember posting about it at some point - how one of his posts would be paragraphs and paragraphs of unintelligable legalese, chock-full of notwithstandings and heretofores; and the very next post, he would be rambling like Granma was his drama coach, and from there he would be ready to jump into the ring with anyone who looked at him sideways.  Personally, and this is strictly my o-p-i-n-i-o-n, but I think our own Mr. P. has more than a few ghost writers - either that or should be medicated for being bi-polar.  There HAS to be someone in the wings with a legal mind in his corner to coach him and/or write most of the legal crap he spews - because he is certainly more the brawling hellion than an even-tempered legal professional.

Very well said Girl...

Joe loves to read his own ramblings. He loves to think he's the lone rebel battling the evil empire.

Joe thinks he's a light saber toting Jedi Knight and that Chris Doherty is Darth Vader.

What Joe refuses to accept is that he's just one of the crazies in the Star Wars bar scene.

At best he's Chewbacca.

His wife has also sued doctors for malpractice:


Joanne Pilchesky, 819 Sunset St., v. Dr. Ferdinand Carlos, Towanda. Medical malpractice; at least $30,000 sought.

There should be a law against someone habitually tying up the courts with this many lawsuits. There is no lawyer listed for this malpractice suit, was she represented by Joe?  I wonder how that turned out....I'm sure the doctor's lawyers ate him for lunch.

That looks fishy - she lives in Scranton but was going to Towanda to see a doctor? I guess their wasn't any doctors in Scranton she could sue.

From reading Joe's site, I gathered that she used to live in Towanda before she met her prince charming.

Quick question. I noticed on the front page of the new phone books an ad for the city web site. It has a pic of the electric city sign and the scrantonpa.gov web address at the bottom. Are we paying for an ad of the city's web site in a city phone book? Maybe the residents of the city DOn't know what city they live in or DOn't know they have a city web site. Real cutting edge advertisment to inform our residents that they live here and have a web site. I also wonder what the cost of the ad was, if any? Any info out there?

Hey Bo Peep do you think the only residents of this fine city are DD people ... think again ... there are a lot who have never even heard of DD ... So what if the Mayor paid (don't know that he did for sure ... but I'm guessing) for an ad promoting the City of Scranton in the Phone Book ... just because you know where you live does not mean you know there is a website ... and how do you think people will know the web address if there isn't an ad?  I Don't Know You all need to smarten up over there at DD ... not everything is a conspiracy ... you should be happy that the Mayor is promoting the city ... Hey I know Bo Peep ... why don't you get your mentor to sue the city for promoting the city without the LoD's and the DD websites permission ... because afterall you all represent the way this entire city feels ... because God knows  We Are Not Worthy to have our own opinion!
