This what the main screen looked like at the time I took the first screen shot, now check it out. Anti's post is back and it seems fine but the numbers are offlol what's up with that??

Altercation outside off-duty troopers home leads to shots being fired, mans arrest

A city man was arrested hours after he tussled with an off-duty state trooper an altercation during which several shots were fired outside the troopers West Scranton home early Monday, police said.

Joshua Kirckhoff, 21, of 1208 Washburn St., is charged with two counts of attempt to commit theft and loitering and prowling at night and one count each of disorderly conduct and aggravated assault.

Trooper Alex Douglas told police he awoke around 2 a.m. to the sound of a car door slamming and saw a man across the street, jiggling door handles on two vehicles. Then Trooper Douglas saw the man come into his yard at 121 N. Merrifield Ave., and to the back of his home, so he grabbed a Glock 27 his off-duty weapon and went out the front door. Why didn't Douglas call the police immediately?

As he approached Mr. Kirckhoff in the backyard, he called out State police! Dont move, but instead of freezing, Mr. Kirckhoff ran toward him, according to the police report. Ain't no unarmed crack head going to charge an armed man.. if anything the armed man will charge the crack head, which is exactly what happened. The men struggled and the gun went off, Trooper Douglas told police. If anything, Douglas ran towards Kirkhoff, and Kirhoff struggled to get away.

During the struggle, Trooper Douglas hit Mr. Kirckhoff wherever he could to stop (him) from gaining access to his weapon or cause him serious harm, the police report said.

Mr. Kirckhoff escaped from his grasp, but Trooper Douglas caught up with him behind his truck, and they struggled again, this time over the gun. BULL****. I don't buy it.

Trooper Douglas told police several rounds went off into the back of the truck before Mr. Kirckhoff got into the cab, slamming the door. [Interesting word choice. "Serveral rounds went off into the back of the truck"... did the bullets get there by themselves or did a certain state trooper aim the gun and shoot... In other words, Douglas shot the guy's truck out.

Why didn't he call the police? Doesn't the State Trooper know how to get a license plate?! What if one of those bullets missed and went through a window-- oh wait, that's right. The end would justify the means..after all Kirchoff is a theif which deserves to be shot at] Trooper Douglas then tried to smash the window with the gun, and more shots were fired before the prowler drove off. Hmmm... I seem to recall a fleeing felon act somewhere.... Don't get me wrong: I don't really like theives. I hate Judy Gatelli. However, I don't think a suspected theif deserves to be shot at. I'm sorry, but they don't deserve to die. How much pocket change did Kirkhoff make off with... and ended up with a cop trying to smash his window. Remember we're dealing with possible theft and tresspass... and I'm not completely convinced Kirckhoff assaulted Douglas but rather defeneded himself to get away from an armed man.

How come no charges are filed against the officer for shooting the back of Krckhoff's truck?

Police arrived on the scene around 2:15 and Trooper Douglas provided a description of the man, the truck and an account of what happened. In other words, he talked with the police and police decided to lie in order to keep Douglas out of prison.

Mr. Kirckhoff was apprehended by Scranton police when an officer noticed a man matching the prowlers description a white man wearing a white shirt and white pants and a white hat fixing a flat tire on a truck with a bullet hole in the bumper, at 4:45 a.m. on Washburn Street

Mr. Kirckhoff told the officer hed recently been hit with a gun and should have called police, at which point he was arrested, according to the police report. Initially he said hed been in the neighborhood looking for a friend who was selling him drugs, but under further questioning he admitted to trying to open car doors for loose change and to going into Trooper Douglas backyard and struggling with the man.

Mr. Kirckhoff is being held at Lackawanna County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Anti speaks his personal truths ... what he personally believes to be true ... but he fails to open his eyes and see the real truth ... and he fails to allow others the same courtesy of having personal beliefs and things they hold to be true. Opening up Anti's mind would be a frightening and complicated matter....

First, there's all that white guilt stuffed in every corner of his cranium, hating himself for being a white, middle-class American (in essence, being all the things he, himself, pretends to hate). This is the stuff that forces him to make assinine statements like "Blacks don't drink and drive"...as if African-Americans were somehow this different species, immune to the effects of alcohol and bad judgement. In his zest to bend backwards to minorites, he shows his true racist nature.

Then there's the pseudo-intellectualism laying around everywhere. This is the stuff that prevents him from answering simple, direct questions with a "yes" or "no" answer. For example, he is incapable of making the statement "Yes, communism has been a failure as an economic system". In another life, Anti was a cheap Philadelphia divorce lawyer.

Finally, you have picked on, pudgy little white boy, who when backed into a corner he can't get out of, simply reverts to writing "F^%k You". You know you've won an argument with Anti when you get him to that point. It's his version of a white flag...a "No Mas!" moment.

Lus this jerkoff is really getting out of control. It's bad enough with all the racists comments and the wishing AIDS on people, but this has to be the 5th or 6th time he mentions wanting guns to be used. Could this be viewed as a TOS issue for that board's host? As the admin over here can you send a sample of Anti posts to sparklit and register a complaint about this stuff? I was just wondering. I have a love/hate relationship with Scranton Today. The beauty (for me, anyway) is that Scranton Today is a product of the Irish Catholic Network that became somewhat of a Frankenstein, taking on a life of its own. The only way to control the power of it is to shut it down, and this is what Doherty is attempting to do. That Doherty Networked his way into dismantling Scranton Today behind the back of people like Palutus is a perfect example of LIVE BY THE SWORD, DIE BY THE SWORD. I get a warm tingly feeling wathing the biggest Doherty kiss-ass, Palutus, get out-McFinnitied at her own game. If only I could loan them guns.

Many people (certainly not all) from within Scranton Today are partly responsible. Scranton Today caved into Doherty in the past. Where was Palutus and the rest when Doherty was strong-arming them? Why did they wait until the 11th hour, in an act of desperation, to come foward? Timing is everything.

Let's support Scranton Today, even if it is a losing battle. What we need to do, however, is think of an alternative. Let's use this loss as a wake-up call to find other ways of organizing and getting the message out. The internet is a powerful tool that we need to fully utilize: the internet is one thing the Network can't control. We also need to find other ways of organizing. Many people don't watch Council meetings or TV 61 (thanks to the Dish Network), so we need to reach out to those people.

I could report this .... reports to sparklit must be made via regualr mail ... so I have to make copies of all of the offending posts and what I really think is that when I report Anti ... I should include copies of the site aministrators use of the "N"word ...

They are getting out of hand over there and Joe at the very least should have edited that post ... actually it is just my opinion but he should ban Anti. He promotes everything that violates the TOS ... promoting hate speech ... promoting violence ... and the list goes on and on.

Interesting post Lus.

Like many race-baiters, Anti ends up degrading the people he is supposedly defending. Thanks to Anti, we now have someone talking about how blacks don't take care of their properties and are affraid of books. You get the impression with Anti that he's one of those guilt-ridden uber-liberals (and I consider myself to be fairly liberal with regards to social policy) who, deep down, probably doesn't think all that much of the minorities he "defends". They "need" someone like Anti to defend them, as Anti probably feels that they are incapable of doing it themselves. Anti gives new meaning to the Victorian phrase "White-Man's Burden".

I won't even go into the fact that once again, Anti makes an outlandish statement without so much as a crumb of proof. Why? Because no proof exists.

Anti somehow believes that a something is a "fact" merely because he says it is. The truly laughable part though is that many of DD fall for it. Just goes to show you that some people will believe anything.

Speaking of that, nice try on Glenn's part to somehow engage Anti, but I'm affaid I'd give that round to the racist scumbag (that would be Anti). The trick with Anti is that you have to get him to the point where he just says "f^%k you"...then you know you've won the debate.

It's amazing that quasi-intellectual Anti, someone who prides himself in his ability to tell the DD readers what they need to read in order to be "properly educated", degrades to f-bombs whenever the debate gets a little hot. Real class act...but then again "class" is probably just a concept invested by Irish Catholics as part of their scheme to rule the universe.

Second, Hispanics have a reputation of revolutionizing cities and parts of cities-- e.g. Chicago, LA, NYC-- that were in decline. Third, they're typically Catholic and work very hard.(You are going to blame the Catholics for everything aren't you ... that shows what a small mind you really have)Last, Hispanics will fill those vacant homes, fending off the influx of African Americans from public housing (Come on ... yeah that's it ... the Hispanics were brought here to Scranton by the ICN to keep the African Americans down ... get real ... better yet get a clue)(Hispanics typically take care of their property, as many are in landscaping). (For someone who hates stereotypes ... well he's more guilty than anyone else of sterotyping Hispanics ... come On Anti ... admit what a racist scum bag you are ... you know you are just admit it ... it's the first step to recovery realizing and admitting you have a problem)

Hispanics don't ask for nothing; they won't ask for directions. (You are kidding right? If you are referring to Hispanic men well that would make them no different from any american man ... because typically no man likes to ask for directions ... at least that holds true for the men I know)

That may be so Glenn, but the real blame for his vile spew lies soley and squarely with Joe Pilchesky.

Why? Question the circumstances surronding the hiring of Janet Evans to a full-time teaching position and Pilchesky will ban you faster than you can spell KKK; spread all manner of racist filth, lies, pseudo-intellectual bull$hit, (but drive site traffic) and Pilchesky allows you to stay to post carte blanche.
