I just want to add my my voice to what IHavehad said...
To one and all of my partners in crime here at PD, I hope you and yours all have a Blessed and Merry Christmas.
To our visitors (especially those from DD...and we know you read here) I wish the same, PLUS an extra wish that maybe during this holiday season some will begin to see beyond all the hate and anger. Life is far too short for such things.

I am taking a little break from baking cookies and cooking kielbasa. The stuffing is made, the packages are wrapped, the hubby is watching "Miracle on 34th Street" and the kiddies are yawning.
Merry Christmas - enjoy your families - enjoy your friends
Well, the cookies were a big hit and the kielbasa is long gone. The stuffing (eh) wasn't one of my favorites, so I didn't mind packing it up to send home with everyone else in doggie bags with all the trimmings - the hubby is back to watching Deal or No Deal with his belt undone and the Pepto close-by, and the kids can't keep their eyes open, but are plugged into the new Nintendo nontheless.
It was a wonderful holiday. The food was wonderful, the family and friends were better but they're all gone back home. Now, it's time for me to sit back and count my blessing - this should take a while ....
Well it looks like everyone had a good christmas as did I.
We spent time with family and friends. We ate, gave presents, laughed and sang. We went to church and thanked God for our many blessings, among the most important of those blessings is being able to live in a country were you are free.
