Ok kids here is that e-mail you know the one that Jan wrote.  They are blaming this gunner guy calling him a traitor all kinds of terrible things as you can all well imagine. This is all Jan's fault DD'ers ... she wrote it she clicked on the send button ... she did not tell Gunner that this was not to be shared with others ... not granted I don't think she thought that sbrown@timesshamrock.com would receive a copy ... but she did not instruct him to keep this e-mail strictly between them ... if she wanted it to be private then she should have sat down and discussed these issues with them fact to face and by the way I took this e-mail off the DD site so it may be edited even though they say it isn't because you know how protective of Jan Joey is.

All the hullabaloo is to make Janet look bad. By saying that she wants businesses to sue the city discredits her budget (which calls for the elimination of a few important ICNers) and makes her look "anti-progress". How can women who purports that she is trying to make this city solvent possibly want businesses to sue the city? Doherty is doing everything he can (with taxpayer dollars) to make this city "business friendly". Why is Janet trying to incite animosity between the business community and Doherty when Doherty has worked so hard to bring the business community together and strengthen their confidence. I'm reciting the ICN's argument, but you probably get the picture.

Also: Thanks to Janet's comment, Dumb and Dumbass have an excuse NOT to consider Janet's budget proposal.

At one time, I forwarded a complaint to city council about vandalism at the Nay Aug Playground, some of it was broken equipment that posed a safety threat the children.  Did Janet Evans even take the time to respond?  Nope.  It really gives you a good picture of Janet's character when she doesn't even have time for a childrens' safety issue, but she has plenty of time to gripe and encourage lawsuits and rally the troops against a smoking ban (which will protect children). 

Janet is a fraud.

However, I did receive a sincere telephone response from Judy Gatelli, who did have the parks dept go and clean up the mess.  But you can't say that to the DD crew, they think Janet is and angel and Judy is Satan.

For as much as she makes my skin crawl, I would not want her to resign (then I would have to come up with a whole new name for the show). 

But just once, ONCE, I would like for her to make the admission that she is NOT the be-all and end-all to every citizen of Scranton.  That every word that dribbles from her mouth is not a golden nugget to be held as "The Gospel According To Janet".  She is NOT a prophet, she is NOT Scranton's answer to Wonder Woman with her magic handbag.  I am so sick and tired of her speaking as if she is.  I did not vote for the woman.  She does NOT work for me.  She does NOT represent my views. 

She's good for a little comic relief, and I for one, LOVE THAT FRIKKIN' CARTOON because it is extremely appropriate.

I have a question.      Apparently little Miss Jan was on the Sue Henry show trying to explain away her questionable e-mail this week.  Sue Henry's show is between 9am and 11:45am.  How, may I ask, can Miss Perfect be talking on a radio show during, what I believe are, the same hours she is supposed to be teaching her students?  I certainly hope she didn't call off sick for this little "event" or worse leave her teaching responsibilities and classroom to try and pull her butt out of the fire. See now ... there were no days off last week ... Ummm on Wednesday ... Mrs. Evans did not appear in the building until almost 2:00 ... I thought she was on a trip with students .... and then Thursday there was a demonstration on Terrorist attacks at Scranton H. S. ... maybe Jan did not attend ... maybe Jan took a presonal day ... I do not know ... hmmmmmm .... But school was definetly in session all week long.

Thanks for the info. I am sorry I wasn't more clear though, the day she was on with Sue was either the day the article came out or the next day. It was not Friday. I only caught the news blip about it, not the actual interview.  I think the news announcer is Bud Brown (?). news story was about the e-mail, then he said "Janet Evans spoke with our Sue Henry today about the e-mail". He then played a small sound bite of the interview.  The news then continued after that. I was out and about doing some errands when I caught the news at noon that day.  I have been running so much around between work and christmas shopping that I forgot to mention it at the time I heard it. Sorry for the confusion.

I have to sit at my computer waaaay to long each and every day to see that kisser staring me in the face - but it's funny to know that others keep that reminder.  I wonder what Miss Finance Chair has on her desktop??  Maybe Joe will have the new fancy schmancy graphics dept make a very special one for her, reminscent of Cruella DeVille wearing a coat made of puppies and a fluffy collar of our children's hopes and dreams.
