WOO-HOO !!


Let's see if we can't get the venue changed to someplace outside Albuquerque and continued to sometime in July.

I found this Milo Post to be most humorous ... and why ... he is saying that Doherty and Council (majority) are trying to hide the tax increase behind a smoking ban ... well do you think that they went over to West Scranton High School and asked the students there to be a part of this clever scheme?  Are you kidding Elmo ... Elmo have you considered this ... that there has not been an increase in taxes in years ... so maybe just maybe it was quite necessary to raise these taxes ... Do you think that Mayor Doherty and Judy wants to raise taxes ... Sherry wants to raise the taxes ... McGoff wants to raise the taxes ... I think not and why you ask?  Well, they are taxpayers why in the world would they want to do this ... nobody and I will repeat this ... NOBODY wants to pay more in taxes ... but taxes are a necessary thing ... this is the way the city pays the bills ... everything is going up ... everything ... they purchase gas for city vehicles ... they have to heat the city buildings ... pay light bills ... water bills ... etc.  Now what really intrigues me is this ... when the School District of the City of Scranton raises taxes ... how many of you show up to the meetings?  Not many from what I understand ... now this is where taxes go up annually ... but you are not all bitching about that are you? 
 
I find this post to be ridiculous and asinine ... that's right lets get those kids from West Side to help us out here ... we will make them take the focus off of our tax hike!  Get real Elmo.

Well, at three hundred dollars a pop, we should have that deficit paid in NO time, dontcha think?  That and the fact that all the nitwits from across the hall that have taken up smoking are going to be blazing up in front of the cops, just to see what happens.  And, if you count each of their 3-4 nightly fines and multiply that by the number of nitwits that post there - aww hell, that's only six people TOPS anyway - Never mind.

I'm just curious ... but when did Minooka Secede from the city?  I was not aware that they were no longer part of the City of Scranton ... but apparently they know something at DD that the rest of us do not.

I am sure that I am not the only person who has seen this in Mr. Pilchesky ... but again this is simply one person's opinion.

Do they actually think Janet Evans can go further than she has in Scranton?  Do they actually think she will be elected Mayor -- let alone Senator.  What they fail to realize is that there are only a few individuals who actually give a rat's ass what that woman has to say.  Mind you, it is not ALL drivel (she has made a point or two in her day) but her popularity ends with the "Across The Hall Players".  People outside Scranton continue to laugh at her.  She'll never get a city seat, will certainly not be elected to a county seat and unless there's a blizzard in hell, the Senate is waaaaay out of her reach. Hell, people have gone halloweening dressed as the dynamic duo of DiBilio and Evans.  Look where THAT got her.  ... And the only thing she'll be using that broom for is a ride home.

Now this is just my opinion ... but what seems to be ludicrous to me ... it simply this ... that they have to have any lawyers there at all ... because Pilchesky is not someone who is affected by this ... he is not a businessman (who the smoking ban hurts) ... I thought that he stated that he was not even a smoker ... so I would think he has no real stake in this other than the glory of yet another lawsuit ... keeping his name in the headlines ... he's all about the glory of it all ... and truly there is no glory in it ... there is only waste ... waste of the courts time ... they should be hearing cases on crime … hearing cases that have merit … they should be using court time wisely … and the money that it tied up in these lawsuits … think about it … the money the city has to pay out to these lawyers … the court costs … the cost of a court stenographer … it’s unreal when you think about it … we think what is this costing the city taxpayers … but this is bigger than the city … this is what is the cost to the county taxpayers also … so now when you think about this … you are not paying one time of his lawsuits … you are paying twice … countywide and citywide … that’s just my opinion …

As to if Minora is representing Judy privately or on the “City’s Dime” … well I would believe that since he is the solicitor for City Council … and she is going as President of Council … well then he would be representing Council … and as to Chris Doherty … well he is entitled to council isn’t he … Minora does not Represent the Mayor … he represents Council so Chris Doherty would need his own lawyer … now if Pilchesky were so worried about his … why then did he bring this action against the City and Council?

Sorry for rambling … these were just some thoughts after I read your post.

They do so much bi+ching about Lisa Moran and her fashion degree, it HAS to pop up all over the Eye-talian internet.  It just might even pop up on  ILoveCharlesManson.com because of their blatant use of a swastica.  Or it might even appear on GirlsGoneWild.com because Joe is actually letting them use horny avatars.  I hear that LooneyTunes.com has filed a lawsuite (a la Granma) against Fay Franus for masquerading as Elmer Fudd.  Hell, they've even made YouTube.com thanks to Ray Lyman.  

I think the Phila., DC and NY IP's that are accessing the site are all affiliated with MENSA.com and they are using the Across The Hall Players as their "before" examples (they come over here for the "after" results).

This is payback, Doherty style. DPW received a contract, and new equipment. Vitrus promised his undying support for Doherty in public at city council. Now, he'll make us wait for services. Just another way to coerce the citizens into compliance and silence.

The same happened with the lower Greenridge flood and the Albright Ave. bridge. People complained about Costello and Parker and the city providing services to a private person, and when it came time to clear the bridge in anticipation of more rain, he made everyone wait. That is, until the citizens decided to take matters into their own hands and clear it themselves. The liability and notariety in that situation had DPW down there within a day.

One can only hope that evidence can be shown that DPW trucks are sitting idle somewhere, and if another person suffers because of their negligence, more rounds of lawsuits. Of course, that's something that works for Doherty since his crony lawyers will get more work...on our dime.



What I find truly amusing about this is that she thinks Costello had something to do with the albright bridge ... well hello he didn't!  Now I do agree that attention should have been given the bridge sooner ... you are right ... but come on to say that the DPW is not doing their job today ... well I beg to differ because I know for a fact that many of them have been out for over 24 hours straight ... so if you see a couple of them sitting having a meal ... having a coffee (to aid them in staying awake) could you possibly think to cut them a break as I do not know how many of you would be able to drive a plow for so many hours without a moment where you may have to go back in ... hey maybe they had to take a S**T or make tinkle ... ever think about that when you see those trucks somewhere ... or should we now have the DPW workers wear depends so they don't have to make pit stops ... hey if it's good enough for NASA then give it to the DPW ... Dee Dee could you be more rediculous if you tried.

You file all the lawsuits you want ... but how about you tell the children of the DPW workers that that accident was for a good cause ... so you could get out to buy a gallon of milk ... even though you should have done that yesterday because we knew this was going to happen big today! 

Be ashamed of yourselves over there ... which one of you would do that job ... or maybe you wanted it and were not qualified!

My husband was one of them that was bitching an moaning about how bad the roads are.  I can understand his being upset - he had to get up and drive to work, then get stuck at work later in the day because no plowing had been done on the highways or city streets from Scranton to 'up the line'.

Why can't people just understand the fact that just because they aren't on YOUR street, doesn't mean they aren't on ANY street.  Cripes, these guys have a ****load of work to do and your harping on them and not having the courtesy to get the hell out of the plow's way, certainly doesn't help matters.  Sure I was just as inconvenienced as the next guy, but when the plow finally came past my house, did I chew him out for being late?  No, I offered the poor guy a cup of coffee..  Did he accept it?  No - wanna know why?  Because he probably thought I was one of those pilchesky arseholes who just might poison him.
 
Cut the guys some slack and go shovel your snow, crybaby.
