I don't know if this topic is worthy of its own title, and you can do with it what you want, but I received notice yesterday that I have no more opportunity left to appeal.

Just to understand, I raised the constitutional issue of ineffective assistance of counsel from before the trial even started, and as I finally reached the Supreme Court last week, they denied reviewing my appeal. They don't give a reason.

I received an order from Erie on Monday directing me to surrender on Thursday to the Erie County sheriff, and I immediately petitioned for a stay of 30 days to get my personal affairs in order. Today I received word that I was denied that extension request. So, tomorrow, I'm off to Erie to serve 18 3/4 months minimum to 24 months maximum.

I don't know if I will be in county jail out there or state correctional facilities, but either way, I won't have access to the internet to rabble rouse anymore.
