Lots of flyers were handed out.

It was a good flyer that gave a lot of information. I'd like to thank Bruce Levine for exposing this whole scam and making sure the feds are doing their job. He's repeatedly mentioned in the flyer as the single person who made all this happen. Quite the accompishment for one man.

How exactly does Mr. Levine make sure the feds are doing their jobs?  I didn't see the flyer but if its the same Bruce Levine I know I doubt anyone reports anything to him. He's a person of no position of authority whatsoever, so where'd you get that crazy idea that the feds would report to him?

Bruce Levine was mentioned in the flyer, both in the body of the flyer and as a contact person.  He is in no way affiliated or associated with the Kids for Kash movement in terms of being a contact person. That was done in error at his behest and without my knowledge and consent. He is NOT to be contacted as someone who can offer assistance if you have Family Court issues, although he can give you the name of the agent running the investigation, since he was interviewed with approximately 120 other parents.

Several months ago he signed up on this forum and immediately began to make mass contact with anonymous posters seeking information and legal documents from them about their Family Court case. I had over 100 complaints that he was trying to get the identities of anonymous posters in that manner, so I had to deal with that minor crisis by banning him.  Many posters believed him to be an attorney.  He is not, but he did have serious problem with Family Court and he was trying to get people to sign up in a federal class action undertaken by a firm out of town. He seems well-intended, but his methods and credentials leave a great deal to be desired.  He is not a person conferred with any legal authority whatsoever. government or otherwise.

Bruce Levine is one of many parents who had been hounding the authorities for over a year, if not longer, to get some action on Guardian Ross' billing practices. It was not until Dana Lewis and Dr. Stephanie Tarapchak came forward with their horror stories and allowed me to post their cases here that the authorities were forced to look at it and eventually took action. Actually, it was posting up Danielle Ross' recommendation in the Dana Lewis case that got people communicating with one another via this site and email.

The authorities are not in any way under the thumb of Bruce Levine. Although, he's probably a pain in their asses. Any claim by Bruce Levine that he'll make sure the FBI does its job is more full of bullshyt than one of Danielle Ross' recommendations. That part of the flyer is regrettable and I apologize for it. It got printed without my knowledge and forthwith distributed the same way.  Once I realized it, I pulled all of them and replace them with the previous flyer.

It was Mr. Levine who got this investigation going and no one else. Get your facts right.  He took his bills to the FBI and showed the the billing discrepencies.  He got their attention. He's the reason why this whole mess is coming out into the open.  He should be applauded for his fortitude. It was his billing statements that opened the door.

Mr. Levine seems to have good intentions.  Everyone involved does! However, he's merely one of well over a 120 complaints that flowed into various state, federal and judicial authorities long before he got there.  He needs to stop this childish charade that he's the sole cause for the exposure of the many evil demons that exist in Family Court. He has repeatedly made such claims to other posters who know differently.

This is a team event. Many people deserve equal credit for this long overdue investigation, too numerous to mention, in fact. It's wrong for any one person to try to crown himself the shinning star, as Mr. Levine arrogantly strives to do to anyone who will listen to his drivel. If there is one shinning star at all, it's Dana Lewis, whose case was made public months before Levine claims to have gone to the authorities. Following Lewis was Tarapchak, wherein many more vital documents were posted up here to expose the abuses and corruption. Levine has provided NO documents whatsoever.

Then, after a successful RTK correspondence, all of Ross' invoices were posted here, which led to even more harsh criticism and more complaints to the authorities, which led to it being revealed that Ross was also collecting $38,000 a year with no showing of proof that she worked one day for the money. That was federal grant money provided to the county. Hence, the arrival of the Feds. What did Levine have to do with that?  Not one thing.  In fact, Ross was privately sued over the $38,000 and he showed absolutely no interest in the case whatsoever.  No show on court day.  No contact with the Plaintiff, and I would know.

It was Lewis' case that resulted in Ross' recommendations and bills being first made public, which immediately fueled responsive feedback from other litigants and contact was quickly advanced with the appropriate authorities.  Hundreds of people in Family Court read about Lewis' dilemma and the surge was on with calls, emails and letters from people suffering like Lewis to every branch of law. That was in mid-April of this year. DA Jarbola knew there would be a big PR problem if the abuses doled out by Ross, as reported here six months before the Times printed a word, were not addressed.  His hand was forced by the publicity and many complaints, and not the complaint of one person.

You'd have to be an idiot to believe that the DA's Office and the FBI would expend very substantial resources over one complaint that might show Ross had billing errors in the $250 range. That wouldn't even amount to a third degree felony. The abuses by Ross were already well-known in the county, but they were never made public until they hit this site. The DA wouldn't waste a penny on one complaint and there was more severe billing abuse than Levine may have suffered. It required a large number of people sufficient to establish a strong case just to get the grand jury convened. They don't convene a grand jury based upon one person's complaint, either. The Feds don't launch an investigation based upon one person's notion that he was double-billed for a couple hundred bucks.

I know that Mr. Levine had a personal tragedy that he blames on Ross, but he had the same information Ross had that may have contributed to the tragedy, if not much more. Ross hasn't been sued by Levine relating to this tragedy, which speaks for itself. Why not if any liability or responsbility could have been attached to Ross?

If Mr. Levine attends any future protests, perhaps he can unselfishly distribute a credible press release that speaks to the wrongs in Family Court and doesn't instead very inappropriately make him the center of attention.  If he needs attention, that's what a mother is for. That self-centered attitude alone is a very distracting embarrassment to any worthy cause where many, many others have pitched in as much, or much more, than he has.  In fact, at the last protest, he brought his young son to stand on the corner to hold a sign while he was MIA most of the time, leaving others to care for the child's needs, like something to drink. That alone angered all the other protestors. Children belong in school on a school day, not doing a thing that Daddy won't do. Hats off to his son, but Mr. Levine has a long way to go to garner any respect as anything but someone looking for another shoulder to cry on because he lost control of his own life.  Perhaps his "press release" should have explained why he was removed by Sheriff's deputies from the courthouse?  Maybe next time.  As long as it's about Mr. Levine.

I'm irritated with Mr. Levine's grossly selfish childish antics of "look at me", as you might notice. There's no (i) in the word team. So irritated am I that I've provided him with a poster name under his own name and offered him to come here and subject himself and his trumpeted credibility to the room regarding his claims as the "one and only" hero of the Kids for Kash movement.

That was almost a week ago. Perhaps he's too busy asking other protestors out to dinner or asking a certain doctor for some free meds?
