The post I put up earlier in this day was the accumulation of two things: First, there were many accurate facts as I know them, since I was very closely involved in certain aspects of the case as time passed. One reason for that is that there are two things in the world I hate. One of them is a man who abuses women, particularly, the mother of his own kids. From the beginning it was my agenda to stop him and punish him. I believe I've assisted with the former, the latter contemplates resources.

For everyone's information, I have to rely on sources because I was named as a witness on the Alex Tarapchak side right from the beginning. He never called me as a witness, but he wanted me out of the courtroom permanently, so that's how he accomplished that. Good move on his part. Witnesses are not allowed to be in the courtroom, so I was frozen out of hearing things first hand and I had to rely on sources for whatever information I did get.

After I posted up the original comments on the case earlier in this day, I was contacted by both sides advising me that some of the information I had posted was not accurate. For example, I had posted that the final disposition of the case was that Judge Corbett ordered the parties to counseling and things would then start fresh. Apparently, that may not be the case.

Objections came forward that Judge Corbett additionally ordered either both parties, or just one party, to obtain more mental and emotional recovery that what I had posted. I initially posted that it was counseling.

I regret any error in reporting, and I cannot now rely on either side for full and accurate information. It's not that one side or the other gave me false information, but it's possible one side or the other didn't give me ALL the information that would have better represented what Judge Corbett ordered. After all, there was plenty to talk about. Then again, when a judge is talking in the courtroom, you don't really know what's going to end up in an order until it's written. Things can very easily be taken out of context. But, the point is, I wasn't in the courtroom when the judge spoke.

I am not in the possession of a court order or an opinion, or I'd have posted it up.

I will order the transcripts. I will also get a copy of Judge Corbett's final disposition in this matter. I'll post both when I get them and let them speak for themselves. Until then, it's my personal view that regardless of whatever the judge ordered as help for any of the parties involved, Alex Tarapchak's goal of destroying the mother of his children has been defeated. It was a good effort, that much I'll say.

My daughter has Ross for a guardian. She called her four times before she finally got a return phone call. Ross was simply a bitch. My daughter called her because Ross has yet to send her copies of papers she was supposed to send her. That's happened lots of times. Ross said it was because of an unforeseen shortage of staff, but I thought she and Sue were the staff.

At the end of the conversation my daughter asked her why she has not resigned from her position considering the newspaper article and Ross just hung up on her.

Personally, I think we all have a right to know why there was all of a sudden a huge loss of postings here. We all got caught up in this business of abuse in Family Court and all of us followed this topic like its our favorite show on TV.

It's only fair that we know. What if it happens again? When will one of our posts be taken down for no good reason. I respect Joe greatly for what he does but he's made himself the leader of this cause so he has to be a good leader. Tell us what is going on.

To the benfit of anyone concerned or curious: My coverage of the Tarapchak v. Tarapchak case in Family Court has terminated in the best interests of the children. There will be no further discussions. There will be no further postings on the case. There will be no transcripts posted. The case has taken a new direction, and one which, if handled appropriately and wisely, will result in the children's best interests served.

While I give great weight to the benefits of free speech and transparency, it is outweighed by the best interests of the children involved in this case. The free speech and transparency experienced here has contributed as much as it possibly could have to influence change. Some very improper court decisions were exposed here. Poor Guardianship was exposed here. A dirty judge was exposed here. Some dirty lawyers were exposed here. Further exposure of things past will not contibute any more in terms of influence.

The circumstances in place right now, especially with Judge Moyle gone, provide the opportunity for moving forward to the right closure. Judge Corbett now has this case. She has recently ruled to give the parties a fresh start. The slate is cleaned of all those contempt accusations, most of which were unsupported with facts. I will watch the case. If the Court handles it poorly, I will reinstate it on this site to expose it. Unless that happens, Tarapchak v. Tarapchak is history. I wish them all well. And I pray they move wisely and patiently.

I'll be the first one to jump on any bandwagon if it'll get me a laugh or make me chuckle, but it didn't hit me until just now after seeing her picture posted above that this is someone's MOTHER. I don't know this woman or her ex-husband from a cake of soap, but I have seen those eyes before. It took me a minute or two to realize that I have looked into those eyes before when I spoke to her son. He is the spitting image of her. Whether I spoke to this boy on one of his 'good days' or a 'bad day' I don't know. All I remember is looking at this child and thinking that he looked like he sure could use a hug. I do not work for the county, I do not work for any political figure, I have nothing to do with this child, his siblings or his parents. I am just a mom who happened to be in the company of this child a few months ago. His soulful eyes struck a chord with me, even though his name did not. He and his siblings do not deserve what's being done to them. __________________ Stupid people piss me off !
