Having a memory lapse maybe, Baldy?   Remember your own boasting about assaulting a bank teller for a so called insult to that freak your married to?  Or that incident at the DPW building....or how about the crowbar and the drunken guy event?  Remember any of those you as$hole?

Tune up? Broken nose, dislocated jaw, plenty of stitches to go around and black and blue marks ear to ear isn't a tune up. That's an overhaul. No defense of self-defense was entered. This kid could have fled, but he didn't. Barrett kicked the sh!t out of this kid after he was down. Goes a tad past "fair fight" territory, just a tad. When the other guy is down, that's it. The fight is over, unless you're one of those psychos who just enjoys the thrill of beating someone who is not offering counter-engagement. Harassment?  Really? then how do you explain the crowbar to the sleeping drunk guy?

If I did that I'd be staring at the business end of attempted manslaughter or worse, no less than felony assault. This kid had a bad lawyer.

I'll post the lawsuit up later today.

I guess it helps that his followers have the collective intelligence of a brain-damaged sparrow.

#1 Anyone can claim anything in a lawsuit. It doesn't have to be factual. In fact, I know of a man who sued police officers claiming he was disabled, as he did pushups in his cell during the trial.

#2 Who goes to a bar at 2 AM looking to recover a lost phone and jewelry? Sometimes when you pick a fight, you get one.

#3 I've seem many cases plead from assault to harassment. In fact, I remember a Scranton cop being dragged on the hood of a car for two blocks and then thrown from the car when it crashed and the defendant only was guilty of harassment then, too.

Like "Car 18" said, "There's an old saying, something to the effect..If you go looking for trouble..be careful because you might find it."

Couldn't agree more.

Hey, kick the sh!t out of him if he attacks. There's nothing anywhere in any report to indicate the kid attacked. NOTHING. Meanwhile, there's plenty to support that Barrett continued the assault after the kid was down.

Anyone who has been in the position of having the advantage of seeing the "other guy" down knows what should happen next. You stop. Onlookers stop fights when one guy goes down, so knock off the fvcking "he deserved it" crap. There's another old saying, "Grow the fvck up". If the shoe was on the other foot and the kid continued to beat Barrett while he was down and defenseless, he'd still be serving time.

Harassment my ass. Threatening to break a guys nose and dislocate his jaw is harassment, not actually doing it. That's called assault.
