I have been wondering for a long time if Frank Joyce’s comments are written up by Janet Evans before the Council Meetings. Both of them give long and boring speeches that can be shortened to 5 minutes from the 30 minutes that they currently speak. The two of them are so long winded and boring my wife and I can’t even listen to them for more than a few minutes. They are so boring I dont even watch Council on a regular basis anymore.
Before this weeks meeting I was just suspicious, but now I am positive that Evans does write for joyce. It is obvious that the two of them read prepared statements each week, and that’s fine I guess if they want to read a script week after week. This week when Evans was speaking, she said something like “As Mr. Joyce just explained” ect…… While watching it was clear that she was reading from her script. My question is this, how would she know in advance what Joyce was going to say unless she wrote it herself?
As this point in time, Frank writes his own material. Now, does that mean they do not have to be run through the Home Office carwash for "fact checking" and "editing"? No. But I would bet the original is on Frank's laptop.
i absolutely believe they're written by her highness! mr. joyce lives with his mother, works at topps, probably doesn't do his own laundry or make his own lunch and probably doesn't even balance his own checkbook.
same for mr. rogan. these boys can't run a home, let alone run a city. with a course load at the u and work at the pizza shop, i don't beleive that mr. rogan does any of these things for himself either, but yet, is charged with making decisions that affect the rest of the population. can anyone say "scary?" they're not even taxpayers!!!
At least Rogan shows signs of being able to think for himself ... Joyce does not impress me at all ... but Rogan seems to have glimmers of free thoughts every now and again.
I think that Janet more likely than not must give Mr. Joyce the nod of approval on everything that he says so she probably get an E-Mail (if Dave lets his go through) detailing what it is he is going to talk about.

The similarities between Mrs. Evans and Mr. Joyce’s commentary are uncanny. As stated before, they just plain and simple talk too much. Secondly both of their speeches contain cheap shots to Mayor Doherty and Mr. Mcgoff. As stated in the first post Mrs. Evans either somehow had the foresight to know what Mr. Joyce was going to say, or she wrote his comments, because it was clear while watching the meeting that she was reading when she stated “As Mr. Joyce just explained….”
As far as the other 3 members, It doesn’t look like they are reading off prepared scripts, you can tell because they are looking straight into the cameras when they speak, instead of down at their desks.
I don't so much mind that they read from a prepared statement. Normally, it would show they've thought about what they are going to say, and say it in a cohesive manner. That being said, janet evans having the capability to write and re-write and edit and cut and paste makes her 'speeches" redundant overbearing and redundant. When they're up there in front of "the people" they should be speaking spontaneously, and about what was just discussed at the meeting, and NOT concentrating on what they thought about while they sat (pad and pencil in hand) on the pot the day after the last meeting.
Although I didn't see the meeting or hear the speeches discussed above, it sounds like par for the course for the "janet evans variety show". Same old, same old ... point an accusatory finger at the mayor, berate the prior council, and take no blame for your own shortcomings and mistakes. I wouldn't doubt that evans has a 'hotkey' assigned to insert that stuff automatically into each and every speech.
It doesn't seem as if she can make a comment on anything unless it's first been rehearsed and practiced in her fuzzy blonde head.
