Hello all, I'm new to the website, I attempted to create an account at DD, and it was never approved. I agree with other posters on this site that DD is only Joe Pilchesky posting under various user names, this site is smaller but it seems the posters on here are all real.

My pre-teen son has a better vocabulary and grammatical skills. AND he also knows that if you are sincere in a request, you don't stomp your feet and make demands.

I don't agree that this is Chris, spawn of the Queen. Behavior like this from her progeny would not be tolerated (even Grandma wasn't this gramatically challenged). Now if you say it's Dave ... the vocabulary AND the foot stomping seems appropriate.

I'm quite sure Willie Bilinski's interpretation of the Department's Conduct Policy differs from that of the Council Solicitor.  Willie is probably screaming that 'lawsuit' word if they lay a finger on them.  A nasty lawsuit could cost the borough fifty-grand.  Look at the borough's track record.  It's lost every case filed against Dickson City.

No, I would only post under my full name.  In any event, the Dickson City folks know that I would never comment on such a thread.  It brought a lot of blameless people into the mix and the subject matter seemed to be more important than the work-related issue.

P.S.  Caught a mouse tonight with one of those sticky traps.  Took me twenty minutes to pry his little paw out of the glue and free him outside in the backyard.  My friend told me I missed the point of the trap.  There's an analogy here.

I was reinstated for unknown reasons a few days ago.  Perhaps a certain someone other than the moderator felt I was sufficiently chastised for my impertinence.  Of course, telling you guys this may get me banned again...

His utter lack of loyalty stings more than anything (though not much), but I was already building up a resistance to such shoddy treatment after I saw how the empress treated her friends over the past year.  All for the best, though, as my school board candidacy next spring would have prohibited any further posting no matter what.

I stand by my comments regarding the lack of loyalty.  I thought I deserved better treatment, especially since I've never been banned here and I argue with you guys more.

But I will take the opportunity to post and comment, and when the time comes (which seems to be every time she presides over a meeting) to offer my opinions on the supermajority, I will certainly do so.  In fact, I will probably be even more critical now since, having once been banned, I am now willing to assume more risk of again getting the heave-ho in the future.

Actually Glenn I don't blame you a bit for taking the opportunity to post across the hall ... and I would let it be known over there that you were not the one who fell into line ... which will become apparent when you take a notion to criticize the "Supermajority" ...

We would never bann you for arguing with us ... hell we only have banned two people from this site and that was for breaking the rules of conduct ... we don't take kindly to bringing Children of Public Officials into the mix and we also do not tolerate illegal behavior. You have not done either of those things so you would not be banned.

I would go so far as to say that we sometimes enjoy our little arguments with you ... it keeps things interesting around here.

I'm not really sure.  On Thanksgiving, I was banned.  When I typed in my password, it said "Account Deleted".  I sent him a text and told him if he was going to ban me, it should be permanent.  So he complied.  Then the story on the site appeared.  I do not agree with his version of the facts.

Anyway, life moved on and we had a short exchange of texts about how the Honesdale mayor is not a threat to the Lackawanna commissioners and I received a standard e-mail in my box telling me my account was accepted for posting.  So I ran with it.  As you can see on the site now, I am about as popular as Chris Doherty, though with no fringe benefits like, maybe, actually being friends with the mayor.

I can only guess as to what really happened behind the scenes.  That is outside my "need to know", I suppose.  But this morning, I was accused of "not liking" a certain someone.  I don't know why.

Glenn I'm sure you will be banned once again if you are being accused of not worshiping the queen ... sorry to say but that seems to be a DD requirement ... it's funny that they cannot seperated a person from their politics. I personally don't care for Gary DiBileo as a politician ... but I think overall he is a wonderful person ... just not my choice in politics. The kids across the hall do not have that ability ... if they hate your politics they hate you as a person ... I'm kind of glad I didn't fit in over there!

Well GC, I know I've given you some grief on occasion, but I can honestly say I've seen nothing that warrants the random banning (as it would seem) over in the insane asylum.

Whether I agreed with you or not, your posts were always well planned and well written, never just knee-jerk "I hate anyone who isn't Janet Evans" crap. In short, the very few people like you in Pilchesky's playground brought some much needed maturity and intelligence to the debate.

Have no doubt; Joe Pilchesky is the biggest drama queen this side of the Susquehanna River, and if you don't play by his rules (read: Pilchesky's take on free speech) he'll take his ball and go home.

I'm proud of what at one time was surely a record number of bannings from his hell hole. I loved that I knew exactly how to get under his skin anytime I wanted, and I thoroughly enjoyed making him go through the repeated process of banning me while I routinely created new users and used different IP addresses. I actually still have a few "sleep cell" accounts over there just waiting to use when and if I ever have time to make him cry uncle-again.

Welcome to the exclusive club of people tougher and smarter than Joe Pilchesky. There can only be a few dozen people in the world like us. He's so superior to most people in every way. God I admire him.
