If they are 80% in Dunmore and 20% in Scranton then it is my opinion that they owe 80% of a Pilot Payment to Dunmore and 20% of it to the City of Scranton. Now who did the property belong to before it belonged to Marywood? That's right I think you know what's coming next ... it was land that was taken off the tax rolls ... land that if undeveloped could have been developed by that's right I think you know what's coming next ... taxpaying citizens.

So an 80/20 split ... Lord knows Dunmore needs it more than we do!

Between that and the "you need to realize that you're not dating her" admonishment in reference to all the blind love being shown to Evans by some (many) posters, Glenn's posts have been very entertaining lately.

Wow ... the difference between the average DD'er and most normal people ... while I did not vote for Gary DiBileo I am still able to be friends with him and would consider doing business with him if I were looking for insurance or if I were going to buy a house ... but I do not want him to be my Mayor and not for any other reason than who he relies on to be his confidants ... he surrounds himself with idiots ... and it's the idiots that have ruined his political career for the most part ... Gary is also at fault because he choose to follow thier lead rather than to stand up and be his own man. But personally ... I like Gary.

The kids across the hall can't grasp the concept that politics do not necessarily have to ruin a friendship ... and sometimes people will disagree ... and it's not the end of the world ... and what they really don't get is that the world does not revolve around them.  Most people understand this but they just don't get it.

For all you people who don't like what this supermajority has done or believe they won't do, how about you throw your hat in the ring and run for council. What they are dealing with is not an easy task considering the horrible financial mess Mayor Doherty has put this city in. He along with Bob McGoff, Judy Gatelli and Sherri Fanucci. Anything they do to help us come away from this with even a little bit less in the hole will be greatly appreicated. Why don't you place the blame where it belongs, at the Mayor's feet? Have you any idea how much deeper in debt we would all be in if Judy Gatelli and Sherry were still on council. This new council has prevented many bad votes in favor of who knows how much MORE borrowing. Who says Janet has not already begun, and what if's are crazy, what if the sun doesn't come up tomorrow, but we know it will, just as we know the supermajority will be here much longer than two years. You see, we unlike others, think positive and are thankful for all the help this supermajority has given us. We have much hope in the future of our city with this council watching over everything. Time to become a believer. It is so much nicer.

I was under the impression someone of your educational background was beyond poking fun at others for their educational gaps. Perhaps I was as wrong as I was about your knowledge of the Harassment statute. I think Pilchesky, by the way he has defined himself within the community,  almost has to be involved in this fight. Whenever a deal using public money is thrust on the taxpayers and the name "Mellow" is involved, there needs to be strong public scrutiny of the activity, as is the case here. There simply is no one who has the combination of tenacity, knowledge and ability to match those who would make this transaction without review, other than Pilchesky, in the community. This is his type of battle.
