Well sitting school director, who can fire administrator under her who administers test and determines who goes on teachers list sure sounds like conflict of interest, if I ever heard one.

When did her alleged back innjury occur? When tough Hennigan was moved out of the way? Might be something there, maybe not but can you see if the timing of injury matches a crony of hers taking his spot?

Breaking news: FBI probes job-selling in NEPA school districts

The FBI is probing alleged job-selling in Northeast Pennsylvania school districts, the agency announced today.

The FBI issued the following statement:

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is seeking the public's assistance in an on-going criminal investigation in Northeastern Pennsylvania. If you are a teacher, prospective teacher, employee or prospective employee of any kind who has been required to provide money, or anything else of value, to any individual in connection with being hired at any public school in northeastern Pennsylvania, or if you were denied employment because you refused to provide money or anything else of value for your prospective job, you may have been the victim of a crime and you are requested to immediately contact either Special Agent Richard Southerton or Special Agent Joseph Noone in the FBI's Scranton office at telephone number 570-344-2404.


If you are a member of the public who has knowledge of any teacher, prospective teacher, employee or prospective employee being required to provide money, or anything else of value, to any individual in connection with being hired at a public school in Northeastern Pennsylvania, you are also requested to contact the FBI at the telephone number above.

She was elected to the school board in Nov 1991 sworn in Dec 1991 and served until around Aug (? give or take a week or so) 1993.  Gary Dibileo was appointed to serve out the remainder of her term. she has been a teacher ever since.  If I not mistaken her first assignment was a drama coach at West High though I may be mistaken about that....she was a teacher at either North Pocono or Pocono Mountain before that and from what I understand her tendency to be ....shall we say politely ....sick or absent...is legendary there.

Now it is important to know she was on the eligibility list (which by the union rules the top people must be offered the job) however....my contention is that since the list was populated while she was either....  sitting board member or a certain-to-win school board candidate ...it begs the question of whether a administrator (who she was /or would soon be the boss over) can honestly evaluate and interview with regards to her placement on that list because of the obvious tendency for hesitation on the admin part to say anything negative about her due to her position or upcoming position of authority over them.  They have no union or protection from the board. They serve solely at the discretion of the board.

 

 


I finally found the exact year yayyyyy!!!... as I was estmating up to this point.... 1994 is the year she took the job..
