There are more than enough of us out here to absolutely crush the Doherty/Lynett machine in tomorrow's election by a three-to-one margin. The problem for us is there are six candidates. That's a huge advantage for Chris Doherty.
If our votes are improperly divided among the other five candidates, Chris Doherty can win this senate seat. We all understand how that math works. It's old stuff. We understand the political benefit of plurality elections. It's called divide and conquer. It's the oldest and most effective weapon in any political setting. Spoiler candidates are often added to a race to dilute opposing strength. See McGuigan in the 05 mayoral election. It works quite well. It can work here if we allow it to work.
We are not divided in the loyalty to want the Doherty/Lynett/Mellow machine defeated. The division can come in the form of where our loyalty goes when we vote. If we spread it out, we're going to be divided and conquered.
The arrogant Lynett machine has been imposing its media political power upon us for decades to keep the corrupt thieves in office, or to get them elected. It's not only been protecting the vast corruption of Chris Doherty for 8 years now, but its arrogance in doing so fears no consequences. We, however, have already beaten this machine through communicating and voting in unity. We knocked off the likes of Shimkus, Gatelli and Fanucci, and others. Down went Cordaro and Belardi.
Unity is the kryptonite to the powers that drive and depend upon the divide and conquer philoshpy.
We must now unify again to defeat the power of divide and conquer politics. If we fail, Chris and Virginia Doherty win.
Chris Doherty was the front runner from the beginning, well ahead of his opponents. However, two opponents closed that gap. They are Wansacz and Volpe. Wansacz's ties to per diem abuse alone have dropped him back. Volpe's organization, spending power and necessary response attack ads have positioned him favorably to beat Doherty.
We must unify our strength in numbers and get behind Volpe. A vote for any other candidate is a wasted vote, no matter who it is for. No matter how loyal you are to another candidate, it's misplaced loyalty. Be loyal to justice tomorrow. Honor your voting power by making it count for dignity. Nothing else matters. Loyalty to a losing candidate is adopting betrayal to what we've been fighting for over the last five years here. We don't just want justice, we want our due revenge. Above all, we want to continue to be more powerful than the Lynetts and the corrupt Dem Party. We've already come a long way in a short period of time.
Our loyalty must be wisely invested in a showing of unity. Our sense of dignity, integrity, pride and intelligence is challenged more than in previous elections. The stakes are very high. If we can unify and defeat the Doherty/Lynett machine tomorrow, there's no stopping this movement to rid ourselves of each and every corrupt thief in office, bar none. Doherty's corrupted power came to life here. It's our obligation and duty to kill it. Right here. Tomorrow.
Vote Volpe. Get some blood on your hands when you vote tomorrow, Chris and Virginia Doherty's and the Lynett's blood.
I don't think the Lynett Machine is behind Doherty. I received one of those annoying robo calls and the Times is endorsing Blake .... not Doherty ...
Hell if this guy didn't sound like a Jim Jones before he sure has gotten there now ... WOW! He is on sick puppy.

Didn't take long...and just as I expected...most of the sheep are headed back into the pen in a quiet, orderly, thirsty fashion...besides getting "Missy I can't sit behind a school desk Jan" elected, and tanking in numerous frivolous lawsuits, what has this so called "movement" actually done besides embarrass the City of Scranton and it's surrounding communities?...
Listening to these dolts though, you'd swear they saved the City of Scranton, and now are trying to save the Country...Jimbu15...

It's time to go all in with the best hand.
History waits to see what the people will do when justice can be handed out one vote at a time.
Joe has his finger on the pulse of what's going on more than any of us. If he thinks Volpe has the best shot - then Volpe it is.
Like another poster put it in another thread, with a Volpe vote we whack Doherty, Wansacz and Corcoran - three longtime whores who have raped us over and over when he could do nothing about it.
More people are talking about taking down Doherty and his family of cronies who have wronged this area like it's never been wronged before. That's all that matters is that Doherty loses.
Joe makes complete sense if you're someone tired of feeling the death grip that has plagued this area for longer than most of us are alive.
Corrupt politicians are falling like flies around here and it's been the little guys coming together to do it vote by vote. We'll do it again tomorrow.
Volple for Senate. A vote to rid us of more cancer.
I agree, but Wansacz has taken the lion's share of the Tierney Treatment over the past week and it seems to be turning public opinion. I say Highland, if it does take down Doherty, will do so at a later date and possibly torpedo the Jeffers commissioner bid at the same time.
I'm still thinking a narrow Doherty win and then a competitive general election that will represent the biggest missed opportunity for the Republicans in years.
GIVES JANET THE CART AND THE HORSE... TO TRY HER AGENDA TOWARD REFORM...
DOHERTY IN HARRISBURG... IS A MAN WITHOUT A COUNTRY.. NO CRONY JOBS.. NO CRONY CONTRACTS.. NO ... NOTHING...
WITH REFORM COMING TO HARRISBURG... NO W.A.M. (WALK AROUND MONEY)..
IT ALSO GETS RID OF VIRGINIA... WHAT WOULD SHE MATTER ANYMORE.....
HE CAN DO MORE HARM TO THE CITY... THAN HE CAN DO TO THE STATE... HE WILL BE A MINORITY JUNIOR SENATOR WITH NO POWER OR CLOUT...
YOU CAN ALWAYS HOPE HE IS ARRESTED... UNLIKELY.. BUT THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE...
HERE IS YOUR CHANCE.... HE WINS.. THE CITY WINS... HE LOSES... 3.5 YEARS OF THE SAME OLD FIGHTING AND BICKERING... AND 3.5 YEARS BEFORE THE CITY CAN MOVE FORWARD...
WHO IS TO SAY... IT IS NOT GOING TO BE 11.5 YEARS... AND SOMEWHERE IN THERE.. COUNCIL WILL BE SWUNG BACK TO HIS SIDE... AND THEN WHAT....
You have to live in Scranton to feel the pain of having Doherty as the mayor.
And, to feel the pain of the Times-Tribune lying for him and covering his ass when he's caught red-handed doing grossly unethical and illegal things.
If DiBileo had any backbone at all, he'd be mayor now. Volpe has shown the backbone we wanted in Gary. He should be rewarded for that, just for the fact that he went right after Doherty the minute Doherty played dirty.
No divide and conquer in this one. Volpe can wipe out three bums with a win and give the Times and the D Party a good dose of their own medicine.
Spread the word. It's Volpe to make another statement that we're not alone anymore.
You don't reward a bank robber by giving him the keys to banks with more money in them. What the fvck!!!!!!
What the hell is in the water you drink???????????
As a Senator, Chris Doherty and his sister will immediately begin the process of building a voter base for re-election and a guv run. They'll be into every political nook and cranny you can think of.
It's time again to flex our muscle as one mass of anti-doherty and anti-corruption voters. Shame on us if we let this opportunity go by. And, God bless us all if the scum like Chris and Virginia get a posh office in Harrisburg on our dime from where to plan and scheme even more.
Joe has earned my respect. Who has done more to challenge the powers that be around here? We'd all still be in the dark if not for Joe Pilchesky and his fortitude and defiance. He wants what's right, like the rest of us.
If he says vote for Volpe we should consider the weight of his opinion. Look where its gotten us thus far. We're in the driver's seat as long as we stick together.
So, stick together tomorrow and vote uniformly.
Volpe is the one and only anti-Doherty vote that will really restore the pride.
I agree with all of my heart. We must pull together for one candidate and one candidate only. My loyalty is to Joe Pilchesky. I trust him. Who gets more information than him? He's been our free speech champion for a long time now. He's taken the heat without blinking.
He's been a fearless and strong leader. If he says it's Volpe to win this fight over corruption and pay to play, then we must stand united or divided we will fall.
My choice? Follow Joe's lead. Again, just like we have been.

Consider it done, Joe. Thank you for everyting you've done. This is the least I can do and I don't mind saying I was a Corcoran voter. I'm not hearing much good about the whole Corcoran campaign. I think it fizzled before it got off the ground to be honest.
