Can the Clinton's life preservers keep Mayor Doherty from going under from the weight of his corruption?

I'm advised that Bill Clinton will weigh in on this Senate race. There's going to be a three-prong political assault upon the entire 22nd district from the Clinton power brokers.

1. Robo calls.  They're already circulating asking the voters to come out and vote for Chris Doherty because he can clean up Harrisburg and bring jobs to our area. I suppose it doesn't matter what the rhetoric is that Clinton spins to Doherty's benefit. All that matters is that it's his voice doing the asking.

2. Mailer. There's supposed to be a mailer hitting the mailboxes this weekend that also features the support of Bill Clinton, more than likely loaded with the same message.

3. TV commercials. Same salespitch pushing Doherty as our local hero who has done so much for the economy on the local level.

Can Clinton push voters off the other candidates and toward's Doherty? We'll all know on Tuesday, but the Clinton imposition on this election will have an impact of sufficient effect that we'll have to do a little more than talk about the effects.

This is bringing out a big gun. Hillary went over well in this area. Is she going to be a part of the push? Will it be enough to blind voters for that crucial moment when they vote?
