I can't seem to bring myself to watch the entire council meeting these days ... BORING ... but when I do watch I seem to always be able to catch the speech of what I do believe is the new superstar (idiot) of the Council Speakers ... his name is Jerry Chazen ... he gets very emotional when he speaks ... and tonight he spoke about the Peurto Ricans and how they shouldn't be coming to our city ... now mind you the ones he speaks of have family here and it is quite possible that they may be coming for a visit ... but Mr. Chazen would like it if they do not come here and he would like council to put out an announcement that we are no longer welcoming people to come to Scranton unless they have a job ... He also mentioned that he would like to see the city's population brought down to 50,000 residents and that we do not let the population go above that ... now maybe I was not grasping what it is he is trying to say ... but two things I want him to know ... Puerto Rican's have free movement throughout the United States ... and why ... because Puerto Rico is a US Territory which means that they are citizens ... and the other thing that I would like to clue him in on is ... without growth a city dies ... a city does not look to downsize ... we want growth of the tax base!
Oh yeah Jerry Chazen is the new superstar (idot) and I look forward to all of his idiotic ideas ... Jerry next to your Phillis makes sense!

What part of "they are american citizens" are you struggling with?? So If I am to use your logic unless I have a job I can't be in PA? If at all possible could you reference the section in our constitution that states you can not be in PA unless you are employed. I need to know because I think my father is screwed... since by your logic as he doesn't currently have a job I guesss he has to get out of dodge pronto!!

These are citizens that we are talking about they are not illegal immigrants with no green card ... they are citizens ... so I guess you think it's a good idea to knock down the city's population to 50,000 and not allow anyone else to move here also ... When I first read the title of this thread, I thought you were talking about Faye. Did everyone see her all fancy on tv the other day? Girlfriend got herself a makeover, and not just the physical appearance either (which I might add was not all that bad). janet must have given her some help in buying her meds for her. Now she can take the real Zoloft and not that stuff samboy cooks up for her in his kitchen.
