Hmmmmm all caps you say ... well why in the world would any English teacher worth anything type a letter in all CAPS? Perhaps her hubby did it? Sounds like something David Evans would do ... but and English teacher, not so much!

I was out for a bit last eveneing and had a very interesting discussion about Mrs. Evans and her supermajority. The person I was with said that it was his opinion that Janet is not the council person but her husband David is ... and my friend was very upset at the thought of the Mayor running for the Senate seat as he did not want David Evans as his Mayor ... and I definetly have to agree.

Another thing he made comments about was the fact that we now have a reversal of the rubber stamping ... the point was made that Judy Gatelli, Sherry Fanucci and Bob McGoff were often told they were nothing more than Rubber Stampers for the Mayor ... well now we have Pat Rogan, the Joyce kid who's first name escapes me right now ... (not a very memorable person for me) and John Loscombe are nothing more than David and Janet's "Rubber Stampers" ... and you know what I never really thought about it before. But my friend was right ... now what he said next was this ... that these three had better start thinking for themselves instead of running with everything that Janet says as they are going to be comming up for re election ... and they will not win ... Janet will ... and she will throw them under the bus and blame every bad decision on the three of them ... and she will still be sitting pretty on the dias and the rest of the supermajority will be home watching it on TV ... it made a lot of sense to me ...

So if any of the Supermajority read this I beg you to begin thinking for yourselves ... and making the right decisions for the city of Scranton ..... not for the few that show up at meetings but for the greater good of all citizens ... not the popular decisions but the decision that is in the best interest of all of Scranton. Start to represent all of the people not just the people who agree with Janet and Dave Evans. Stop being what everyone accused Judy and Sherry of "Rubber Stampers" .... you need to become indpendent of Mrs. Evans ... she would have you think that she put you in office by Mr. Rogan and Mr. Joyce the good people of Scranton Elected you ... she is not the reason you won! Stand up on your own feet ... and show us all the Council People that I know you can be. Or face the fact that you will not be sitting there again.

Well on the news they said that they are presenting the budget tonight ... big cut in the Mercantile Tax and also on Property Taxes according to Mr. Joyce when he was interviewd on the news prior to their meeting ... hmmmmm

Hmmmmm ... no council meeting next week .... why? Didn't they crucify Judy Gatelli for not having a meeting ... yet Missy Jan says no meeting and that's fine .... Not that I really care but don't bitch about no meeting when it's Judy and now ... Jan doesn't want one so that is ok.

I notice that Missy Jan is calling into WILK during the day around 11:00 ( hummm I guess she isn't working AGAIN how suprising). She doesn't seem to the have the balls to call in to a host that isn't carring her water for her.  Sue Henry always shows the love to Missy Jan....Corbett is another story. I guess he scares her.  hehehehhe

Jeeze wasn't Janet the one who brought in that baskeball player to try and save the Boys and Girls club about 2 or 3 years ago ... now she cuts them from the budget ... amazing ... so I guess it's ok for her to cut them but not for anyone else. Like I said amazing ... and first night is something that is family fun for the taxpayers of Scranton ... guess that's going to be out the window as well ... Nice Job Jan!
