As you may have notice I removed the sticky "Jan Sucks" and rep;laced it with this new thread.  This can be the place were we will keep a journel of all the "wonderful" and "miraculous" things her royal highness will provide "for the people"  and record her courageous quest to rid the city of political corruption and the evil and diabolical  squandering of the wealth of the realm .........all hail the queen!!


Week 1   Krake and Boyd Hughs were appointed to serve her royal highness....miraculously this occured without a word of public discussion  yet the other council members completely agreed....you may ask.... how your highness..... how could that happen without any public discussion?  Well since we know her highness would never sink to meeting in secret outside the sunshine I believe we have witnessed a first display of her incredible telepathic powers.  Clearly she was able to (in a milisecond) transmit her vision of the nirvana Scranton will become under her guidance, further she was able to demonstrate telepathically how these two, clean as whisle, no personal agenda, non contected, political virgins will be able to help her in her courageous quest to rid the city of corruption and stop the evil diabolical squandering of the weath of the realm.  <angels singing hallelujah> ......all hail the queen!!

On a serious note here when Kay Garvey got the job they took applications ... I know this because a friend of mine submitted an application for this job. What amazes me is the fact that if this were done by the former council there would have been hell to pay ... they would have been smeared all over Doherty Deceit ... Pilchesky would have called them rubber stampers gearing up for their personal agenda ... but since it has been done by their Queen ... it is somehow ... OK ... to just fill jobs without advertising that there is an opening ... what we really have here is Missy Jan's first act of Chronyism (sp?) ... you know that thing she was never ever going to do ... well she did it!

Just one question .... However in this world will Nancy Krake be able to function without being able to go to that podium and rip apart the Administration on a weekly basis?

On a lighter and streakier note, It looks like she had her hairdresser do a little professional fixer-upper on that rat's nest of hers. Now that she's in the catbird seat where the camera picks up every wrinkle and gray hair, there's been a total overhaul. The hair's all fluffy and streaky, her laugh lines are all botoxed away, her water pitcher's been upgraded to some pink/fruity Crystal Light and her voice and elocution tutor now gets paid by the hour, not by the word.

I hear she even has plans to hold her private meetings in her basement near the water heater (a la Tony Soprano) so the FBI (oops) the ICN can't overhear all the deal-making and the plot-planning she has in store for the humble citizens of Scranton.

Rumor has it that ICN scientists are now at this very moment working on new satellite technology that will foil her boiler room strategy. 

On a lighter note, today is the day I'm assuming that Ms Evans names her new puppy...I mean names the new member of konsil.  Let's see how much of an Evans "crony" this one turns out to be.

Week 2

Well I will probably shock some who peek here but unlike our little psycho friends across the hall we actually are fair and realistic. 
Going by the paper's report I think the selection process for the new council person seemed reasonable.  I have no complaints.

Hummmmmmm  a good question is in the air across the hall.........

TAN loans I believe Missy Jan's panties were in a wad every year over those...when she couldn't stop them with a bulldozer..... now that she can whatever will she do to cover costs until tax revenue starts coming in......?  I believe Fay used to burst an artery every year over this issue also.  This should be fun.

Well if I squint both of my eyes almost closed and kinda look over my right shoulder at the video is seems like she may have sorta winced once while she was talking although that may not have been pain that may have been when she caught sight of her reflection in the mirror, I am not sure .....Maybe we could ask some people who were there??...course most of the people in the room ears were bleeding by that point in her speech so they probably missed it.

uh oh   shenanigans are going on at City Council and on the Zoning Board.

Jonathan Hugg, a Philadelphia-based municipal law attorney, said it is common for cities to negotiate higher payments in lieu of taxes from nonprofits, but he questioned council's use of the easement as a bargaining chip.

"It sounds to me like a quid pro quo, extortion," Mr. Hugg said.

A member of the Scranton Zoning Hearing Board who was granted special exception on Wednesday to build a patio had already laid blacktop at the patio's location about two weeks ago.

(1) I saw an ambulance on New Street. Although Ray didn't know it was
there because he was looking for something called an 'amalanse'.
(2) Kids are swimming at Nay Aug. I even saw a parent or two.
(3) Oh, and there are no large snow piles lining the city streets.

She's got her finely manicured finger on the pulse of the City, that one!
