I simply can't add anything to it...it's that good...
Blummy Posts: 3 Date: May 20 6:20 AM, 2009 Wait, Mission Accomplished? Doherty's career is over? Are you kidding me? Alright, I used to think the people on this board were sane, but Joe's last two posts are a clear sign of cognitive dissonance. If you don't know what that it, it is a tool often used by groups who predict the end of the world. They are forced to do mental gymnastics after the world doesn't end and they have to somehow try to recenter themselves.
This site isn't called "Cordaro Deceit" or "Shimkus Deceit" or "Lynett Deceit" - this site is called "Doherty Deceit" and this guy has earned eights years in office since it was established. And this time he won both sides. How the hell did that happen?
Joe, you were starting topics that said "DiBileo up by 8 + points" and saying "it's official" in the title. Then you said DiBileo's "contract" would have him up by "15 points." Where did these numbers come from. And what about your special poll that had Doherty losing by 30 points and that nobody believes the Times? Looks like a lot of people bought in.
I think you look more like Bush on that carrier with the "mission accomplished" banner hanging behind him. You got the council team, but Doherty has turned people before, what is going to stop him this time?
This site was meant to stop Chris Doherty. It hasn't. So I know you will repond in blue font (or red if you feel creative and angry) to all of this saying "we took him down" and "his career is over," but I just don't see it. What happened to the people?
Why did you basically promise victory on this site and all we get is defeat? Let down after let down, you keep lying and Doherty keeps winning. Don't cite other cases. Don't cite other politicans. This site was created to stop Chris Doherty. It hasn't succeeded.
Mission Accompished? Really? (Cue Joe's typical "I'm not even close to being done yet" comment or "My manhood ensures I will win this" or "Don't worry, I have many more cards to play")

I'm with you so far.

DD was established in 05, not 01.

Polls are just that, polls. They can be deadly accurate, or deadly misleading, but regardless of how they ultimately impose upon the true results of an election, they are a barometer of the intention of the voters - if they show up. Candidates have to "get them out". That's the true opponent in every election, the voters. What stopped 65% of the voters from showing up?
I think you look more like Bush on that carrier with the "mission accomplished" banner hanging behind him. You got the council team, but Doherty has turned people before, what is going to stop him this time?
You suggesting he's going to turn Janet Evans? He has a better chance of getting me to cut Virginia's grass.

And you expect me to have that answer. Here's the closest I can come: It's Scranton.

Chris Doherty has won 4 more years at the wheel of the SS Scranton. On January 10, 2010, the keys will be turned over to Janet Evans. Enough said about what he won.
I didn't run DiBileo's campaign. If I did, he'd be the mayor today. Once again Doherty's jugular got kissed instead of sliced. DiBileo just can't go in for the kill. It's not in him. Scranton gives you credit for slicing jugulars, which is what Chris Doherty does well, which is why he won yesterday. You pay the price for playing nice in this city. DiBileo paid - again. Chris Doherty barely won this "runnin' scared" election with a massive PR attack that experienced practically no response. Evans, Rogan and Joyce went for the jugulars of Gatelli and Fanucci, and we see the results.
Mission Accompished? Really? (Cue Joe's typical "I'm not even close to being done yet" comment or "My manhood ensures I will win this" or "Don't worry, I have many more cards to play")
I moderate this site. I sue the government. That's it. I don't run their political campaigns. I'm not among their strategists. As much as many of us profoundly encouraged Gary DiBileo to go after Doherty regarding the laundry list of his corrupt activities that he has been caught doing, he still didn't do it. You can't make a fighter out of lover, and neither can I. To reiterate, this is Scranton. They love a blood fest in this city, and you'll be punished if you can't make blood flow from your opponent.

Thanks Preacher...there are times when I just can't linger at DD...must be the same thing that sewage treatment plant workers feel.
Anyway, a few thoughts in reply [in red bold]...

I'm with you so far. [Note that there is no attempt by Pilchesky to defend his followers. I guess he still regards them as being "bottom feeders".]

DD was established in 05, not 01. [Joe just ignores the posters point here. He's prone to do that...when all else fails, simply pretend that it doesn't exist.]

They can be deadly accurate, or deadly misleading, but regardless of how they ultimately impose upon the true results of an election, they are a barometer of the intention of the voters - if they show up. Candidates have to "get them out". [If you read Pilchesky's pre-election gloat-posts, you don't always see references to polls...you see simply Joe claiming that Gary will win by 8-15%. For the record, the normal margin of for a well conducted poll is about +/- 3%. A difference of 8-15% represents nothing more than wishful thinking and making crap up, which is what Pilchesky is good at...and since he surrounds himself with toadies who never question his motives, words or actions, he is free to continue to make $hit up.] That's the true opponent in every election, the voters. What stopped 65% of the voters from showing up? [I wouldn't bank on Pilchesky's 65% number...it is probably as accurate as his "poll" numbers. Besides, number voter turnout in primary elections is below 50%, so there is nothing special about this one.]
[Actually I think the poster was probably more talking about Joyce...evil ICN don't you know...or Rogan (who apparently is really, really good at changing his mind..."evil Mexican invasion" and all). Janet will continue to consistently be Janet...doing things that are in the best interest of Janet.]

And you expect me to have that answer. Here's the closest I can come: It's Scranton. [Here's the closest I can come: Joe is an old man who is a walking political embodiment of the Bruce Springsteen song "Glory Days"...except that Pilchesky didn't have actually have any real "glory days" of his own.]
Why did you basically promise victory on this site and all we get is defeat? Let down after let down, you keep lying and Doherty keeps winning. Don't cite other cases. Don't cite other politicans. This site was created to stop Chris Doherty. It hasn't succeeded.
Chris Doherty has won 4 more years at the wheel of the SS Scranton. On January 10, 2010, the keys will be turned over to Janet Evans. Enough said about what he won. [Does that mean that Mr McGoff has the keys now?]
I didn't run DiBileo's campaign. If I did, he'd be the mayor today. [LOL...now THAT's FUNNY!! Oh course he would...Joe Pilchesky is an expert at "If I could have....". He is real-life version of Ralph Kramden...always just being that one step away from fame and wealth.] Once again Doherty's jugular got kissed instead of sliced. DiBileo just can't go in for the kill. It's not in him. Scranton gives you credit for slicing jugulars, which is what Chris Doherty does well, which is why he won yesterday. You pay the price for playing nice in this city. DiBileo paid - again. [Joe must have worked hard at stopping himself from adding an anti-gay comment here.] Chris Doherty barely won this "runnin' scared" election with a massive PR attack that experienced practically no response. Evans, Rogan and Joyce went for the jugulars of Gatelli and Fanucci, and we see the results. [Funny, but I think DiBileo was as critical as Evans was...it's just that Scranton voters know that Gary simply isn't a strong leader. Evans is & I'll readily admitt that...even if I question her motives as being more self than people serving.]
Mission Accompished? Really? (Cue Joe's typical "I'm not even close to being done yet" comment or "My manhood ensures I will win this" or "Don't worry, I have many more cards to play")
I moderate this site. I sue the government. [...and Little Leagues...] That's it. [At last, something I think we can agree with; note that he didn't include "I try and keep my wife out of jail" on his little list.] I don't run their political campaigns. They love a blood fest in this city, [Bull$hit! Maybe back in Joe's day...you know, the 50's & 60's...but these days younger voters don't give a crap about that kind of thing, and neither do older voters such as myself. Gary lost because he came across as a union toadie who was long on complaints but short on answers.] and you'll be punished if you can't make blood flow from your opponent. [Again, Pilchesky just can't help himself...he is genetically programmed to always describe things in terms of violence, homophobia, etc.; instead of manning up and saying "my candidate got beat", he instead has to try and channel General Patton.]
