Have you ever asked yourself ... what is it that Les Spindler is so angry about? He keeps shouting at Council Members that Mayor Doherty claims that there is "No Crime" in the city of Scranton ... now I have heard Chris Doherty speak on several occassions ... and I have never heard him say that Scranton is a city without crime ... what I have heard him say is that Scranton is a city with "Low Crime" ... big difference. Utopia does not exist ... there is no place with "No Crime".
Now on to what is with the glasses ... he puts them on for a second when he switches subjects that he will speak about ... puts them on for on second and then takes them off immediatly ... what is with that ... it's a prop ... he is playing to the camera. Nothing more ... and do you think he is that angry all of the time?

I'm sure Shari will tell us that Les is under-employed as a result of something Chris Doherty did.
Anyway, he has mentioned (while talking through his nose) that he works in a bank. Given what we know of Lester, I'm thinking he's not a branch manager or bank VP. That pretty much leaves Teller or Security Guard.

Banks need janitor's too. He could be the guy (who's just the right size) they stick in the chute to sweep out the air conditioning ducts or their drive-thru tube system. They probably feed a rope from top to bottom, stick him in the basement, attach a caribiner to his belt and winch him thru the ducts up to the third floor.
or he could sweep floors - but I like my idea better.

Les may not be a public official, but by speaking at a public meeting he is certainly open then for public feedback. The fact that he is hyper-critical of others means that he in fact should be prepared for others to be hyper-critical of him. Public Official no, but Public Person yes.
As for Doherty being a crook, I'll say just two things:
That's your opinion & you are certainly allowed to have it.
There is a difference between things like 'incompetence' and 'causing me financial harm' and 'illegal'.
Also, if Doherty is a crook (like Joanne Pilchesky, for example), then he will no doubt eventually be charged. (Actually I just wanted to say that so that I could point out that Edith is a crook.)

Like me, Les grew up in the Hill Section. He was a bit older than me, but I remember he always seemed to have friends much younger than he was. A little odd if you ask me.
Your right Balko that is a bit odd ... I'm assuming he was kind of geeky ... because he is somewhat geeky now ... not that there is anything wrong with that.

Did I photoshop spindler's kisser on a broomstick? um, no.
But it's quite alright to stick Gatelli and Fanucci faces on FAT bodies to be posted across the hall.. And quite alright for Chris Doherty's face to be pasted to all sorts of disgusting backdrops.
If my painting a picture of Too-Tall Spindler which is less than pristine offends you -- you have every right to voice your opinion -- however, don't make it sound as if my comments are any more offensive than can be found across the hall.
