Uh ohhhhhhhhhh one of Joey-boy's alter egos has said a big NO to Janet for mayor. What's this did Missy Jan and her special friend have a falling out??

That's the hottest political topic making its way around the office these days.  I'm not surprised it showed up here, but it is a huge issue for Doherty.  For as good as a mayor Janet Evans would make, she's no pay-to-play politician. 

The money people will say they're behind the mayor, but in reality, most of them are already behind Dibileo with more to follow, myself included.  You'd have to be nuts to vote for Doherty knowing he's going to leave us high and dry anyway with no choice but for Janet to take the mayor's office over.  

I love her to death on council, but for mayor, not yet.

Except for when it comes to getting herself a full-time teaching position.  Oh, and who replaced her after that little personal coup?  As was pointed out by one of the ladies here, the one and only Gary DiBileo.

Probably just a coincidence that she got that teaching position while serving on the board that appoints teachers.  Yup, and it was a coincidence that Chuckie Constanzo and Bobby Cordaro were at the Playboy Mansion at the same time.

If true, then I guess she will not be campaigning...after all, if you can't sit in a classroom,then you sure has hell can't walk door to door shaking hands.

I sure hope she doesn't try to show up for city council meetings and earn money while pulling down a comp paycheck!  The Fed's are around!!  I wonder what they would think of the huge coincidence of her being a teacher while on the school board and then getting a teaching job.....wow never saw that coming!

Worker's Comp is a funny thing ... they frown on you not being able to do almost the same exact thing that is keeping you from going to work. If you can't sit at a desk and teach then you can't sit up on the dias and speak.

Now isn't that funny that she is out on a comp claim .. not funny ha ha ... but funny that she is collecting a check when DAVID had us all believing that she was home taking care of her mother while she was suffering from the mystery illness and not collecting a paycheck ... but I guess he was right ... she's not collecting a paycheck .. she's collecting a comp check. Ducky any idea how she injured her back while teaching a class???

I certainly hope she actually did hurt her back at work.   Afterall according to Davey-boy she has been caring for her ill mother. Statistically speaking back injuries are much more previlant among care givers than among teachers.  I am sure we have all heard of people who hurt their backs at home but conveinently only displayed thier injuries after they got to work.

Musical missing councilpeople - Which ones won't be at the next meeting?

This is unheard of in any other city. 

An election is less than one month away with all the marbles on the table and we have councilpeople blowing off meetings like they mean nothing????

People say Bob McGoff is in the hospital, but who knows if that is true or not? I don't!
 
Last week Fanucci was sick, so she said, so Gatelli called off the meeting, like the 50th one in four years.

Last week Evans was also sick, so they say, which is why Fanucci said she was sick so there would be no council meeting to get more truth out to the taxpayers before the election.  

WTF?  Who's making what deals for votes here.  Who's agreeing to not show up and who really can't make it?  We're talking a two-hour meeting here.  Even if Fanucci was feeling a little under the weather, which no one believes to begin with, she couldn't make it for two stinking hours???????? 

For my money, this is the problem with having women as council people. They have too many problems.  I've had enough of them.  It's time to stop electing women to council. Period, no pun intended.  They break a nail and boom, they can't make it to council. We're the laughing stock of NE Pa and it's well deserved. A lot of the men in the past were *******s, but at least they were there. These women are a disgrace. All of them.

I had a whole schpeal typed out as a reply to that previous post but thought better of it -- Let me just suffice to say that joe pilcheski, the father of free speech, the lover of small animals and goldfish, manhandler of sleeping drunks and bank clerks, you are one of the most cowardly and low-balled individuals on the face of this earth. Not exactly an newsflash that Joe "Misogyny" Pilchesky has issues with women.  Why wasn't it Edith "convicted estate bilker" Pilchesky who he blamed for any and all tax issues they have?

The near constant sexual innuendo at DD...by Joe and others (others who he could choose to edit but doesn't)...tells you how this "guy" thinks about women.  It amazes me that any women with half a brain and a quarter of a conscience could ever been seen hear this guy, actually or virtually (hear that Ms Krake, Ms Evans, Ms Stulgis, etc.)?

The way I see it Ag is this ... these women who think this guy walks on water have no self respect ... if you do not respect yourself then you do not require others to show you respect. The self esteem levels of these women must be at an all time low for them to feel about Joe Pilchesky the way they do.

I have more respect for myself ... I am a very independent woman ... I choose to have a man be a part of my life as a partner ... I do not consider him God and he respects me ... as I respect him ... that's the way life works ... these women obviously do not even like themselves if they put up with statements like the ones Pilchesky makes. Just my opinion.
