Ok Joe I'm going to give you a bit of advice ... before you believe your sources you should check out the story and make sure it's true ... because this one is bull$hit ... and that's a fact!!!

Gatelli is threatening to grieve her rejection - but, unstable is unstable - her words.

That was the message Gatelli was slammed with yesterday after she showed up at the Administration Building prematurely claiming the position of Head Nurse for the SSD after the current Head Nurse reported out sick. It's well known that she's also very near retirement, so theposition appears abandoned.

Instead of showing up at West Scranton to do her duties, Gatelli plowed her way into the Head Nurse's position and actually began to do the duties of the Head Nurse. Word spread quickly, and by noon Gatelli was ousted from the Admin. building and she wasdirected to report for work at West Scranton High School.(Ok Joey if you actually knew anything about this position you would know ... that it is a position that is currently not a part of the Administration Building ... it is a position that is located in Scranton High School ... this position has not been a part of the Administration Building since it was vacated by Millie Winger which was about 8 or 9 years ago.)

Gatelli is under the misplaced impression that because she is second in seniority, she automatically gets the Head Nurse position. (Well more likely than not she will be the next Chief Nurse of the SSD as this job is awarded according to Seniority ... it is a union position ... and union positions are awarded on seniority ... this is the reason that Judy Gatelli was not given the position when Patty Schrekingast got it ... Patty had more seniority)

Wrong. It's not determined by seniority. The SSD can hire or appoint anyoneitprefers to that particular position, according to my Admin source. (again you better get another source ... as this one is pulling the wool over your eyes ... it is a UNION position) Furthermore, the SSD would have to seriously considerthat Gatelli is locked into a libel suit against your's truely, within which she claims thatshe's now emotionally unstable and insecure, taking daily medication for emotional disturbances and on top of all that, she's suffering from severe duress, stress and anxiety. Her words, not mine. Hardly qualified for Head Nurse's position.(I hate to tell you this ... but the current Chief Nurse is about as unstable as it gets ... have you ever met her ... have you ever heard the stories about her ... and oh by the way have you ever heard of a little thing called the ADA ... they cannot by law discriminate against Mrs. Gatelli because she is on medication due to the stress you have caused her ... check it out ... there are laws against such actions!)

In a way Fay is right ... but she got this story backwards ... I remember it well!

Judy Gatelli fought to get this job years ago--and she wasn't qualified then--nor is she now-- especially since she claims to be so distraught--well time may have passed but I for one will not forget the battles we had over her getting this position and I feel as strongly today as years ago-- we shall just see about this-- Judy just know you will be watched-- if you get Head Nurse-I will get President of the United States--guess you know what that means-- you really shouldn't even be nurse at all with your claim of being so upset and scared--

Judy did fight for the position ... on that you are right Fay ... but the reason she did not get the position was not because she was not qualified ... as I remember it ... she was given the position because she was the more qualified ... but because it is a Union position ... and she was not the most senior bidder for this position ... it was taken away from her and given to Patty Shreckengast ... but the only reason it was taken from Judy was she was not the most senior bidder.
