Doherty's future plans are hardly a mystery. What's a mystery to him is how to get there. Doherty falls.

Like Bambi contemplating a quick run to the watering hole, a political lion patiently awaits the tastiest treat of all.


As if he has a stellar track-record on the election side. Hmmmm, outside of Janet "Tomko" Evans, has Pilchesky EVER had a candidate he truly supported win ANY election? He's the equivalent of Ralph Kramden, foiled yet again at some "get rich quick" scheme.

Funny, but if Joe is this "lion" against the "Bambi" Doherty, why then is he STILL Mayor and Joe is STILL relegated to the filing lawsuits that he LOSES AROUND 90% of the time? If Doherty is as corrupt as Pilchesky claims, why hasn't there been a SINGLE CHARGE EVER FILED AGAINST HIM by any state or federal agency? I'm defending Doherty here...he's made some incredibly bad decisions...but the underlying fact is this: Pilchesky has been a miserable failure in any and every bid to harm the guy. No wonder he's started to focus on Covington Township...easier targets. Maybe Pilchesky is gunning to up his winning average to a stellar 25%.

Maybe he never saw Bambi ... He's no political lion ... as Ag has pointed out he does not back winners ... seems as though him going against someone actually helps that person ... Remember how against McGoff they were? How many of the people he has publicly backed have won?

He also hasn't said one word aggressive against either candidate because Mr No-Balls knows "politically speaking" won't cut it with the secret service. If he were to try any of his usual BS with them,like he pulls on the women politicos in this community.....oh court would not be his biggest problem.

When you go there and you read ... you get the feeling that the kids across the hall are supporting McCain ... it the feeling that I get anyway ... but they are not coming out in usual DD fashion with the posts ... they mostly copy and paste articles from news sources ... and I have not seen Pilchesky take a stand at all one way or the other.

You're right Lus...in fact, he almost comes out and says that he's for McCain in a posting that someone cut and pasted here...the post had something to do with "being at war". I think he's luke-warm in supporting either candidate because he knows that he'll alienate some of his posters no matter who he supports...not a good thing when you don't have many active posters in the first place. Plus, by not picking a side, he's guaranteed NOT to lose...a plus when you consider how much he strikes out in other things (losing about 75% of his court cases, his candidates routinely losing in local elections, etc.).
