You hit the nail on the head on Shimkus. He's going into this run for his political life on bald tires and some pretty questionable oil pressure, if you know what I mean. The General election is always more brutal than the primary. Fat Frank has given Kevin Murphy a ton to work with, but is Kevin more Gary Dibileo or what? I'm still not moved to vote for Kevin and if plays this soft I won't vote him. Show me something. This is the age of "Take no prisoners". Both barrels. I'm no different than any other voter who has been around. These slogans like, "I'll lower your taxes and fight for your rights" are an old game. It's 2008. We want a political bloodbath and we want it now.

Now Mr Shimkus isn't my State Representative, so I have no dog in this fight, so honestly I don't call all that much who wins in that race. However the interesting thing is the language used by DD poster Iron Curtain. Is this guy trying to emmulate his hero Pilchesky or what? Right down to things like "take no prisoners", "Both barrels", "political bloodbath", etc. He has the Pilchesky violent analogies covered...but I think he's missing a few homophobic references if you ask me. It's as if Iron Curtain is a 10 year old wearing his dad's clothing and pretending to be a grown-up (where Dad is some sadistic idiot who, for example, beats sleeping drunks with a tire iron).

Anyway, as a voter I'm not interested in prisoners, taken or otherwise. I just want the best possible representation, with lower taxes, & those taxes I do pay spent wisely. As for "both barrels", the Karl Rove school of political personal destruction harms more than it hurts...as the GOP will learn in November; put another way, political "seek and destroy" missions (be it Swiftboating or Whisper Campaigns a-la "_______ fathered a black child") may win an election or two, but ultimately they turn voters off to a party, as shock value can only take you so far....just ask George Bush and his 28% approval rating.

So in the final analysis, blow-hards like Pilchesky and his wanna-bees like Iron Curtain may love the machismo rhetoric, but ultimately it shows you just how intellectually vacant they really are upstairs. Yes, any punk-ass can crow on-line about "political bloodbaths" and get away with it...although it helps if you are known as the "crazy local guy who sues everyone" (Pilchesky) or one of what Pilchesky himself called his "bottomfeeder" followers.

Now this is only my opinion but I would venture a guess that poster Iron Curtain is Joe Pilchesky ... one of his many DD personas.

I myself do not like Dirty Politics ... I don't really care about who slept with who ... I could care less if they smoked a joint and did or did not inhale when they were in college ... what I do care about is what they are going to try and do once they are elected. I know that every promise made during an election will not become a reality ... because in the case of Kevin Murphy and Frank Shimkus for example ... they are one voice among many and they can not accomplish every promise made. All we can really do is hope that they try ... because if they don't try then nothing that they promise will get done.

My favorite campaign promise is no promise other than to do a good job and keep the best interests of the taxpayers in mind .... but hey that is just my opinion.

Nahhhh, never...Joe Pilchesky (and his wife Joanne) would never create mutliple IDs for themselves in order to create the illusion of increased website traffic and support. Nope, never would happen. What's next, accuse Joanne of stealing from the estate of her dead father? Oh, sorry...that already happend.

Nevermind.

We all know it's him, not one of his minion. The missus may be the only one with a magic scanner, but she isn't the only one who knows how to spelunk around the internet and has researching capabilities. Heh, we even did it without the old cut and paste....

Nice try, big fella ...
