Postings are at a minimum across the hall -- they must all be over in the 1500 and 1700 blocks of South Irving Avenue. Most likely doing their civic duties of picking outsuspects and taking pictures and offering their unwarranted corrective criticism to all the police officers.
It's a good possibility there are police officers combing the area onSamboy's corner as well. Ooohhhh, there's gonna be hell to pay for that one.
(My apologies for being glib and poking fun at the expense ofthree fatalities.)
Well it looks like at least one DD poster is blaming it on the "great brown horde, invading Scranton with their strange language and ways" IN ADDITION TO the city Administration. How creative...'Liberty is expensive' has managed to sound like a racist pig and DD bottomfeeder, all in one post...normally that's Anti's territory.
My brother lived in the next block of S. Irving for 15 years. Beginning about four years ago, the hispanics started moving into the areain droves. They aren't just four or five member families. There's often 10 + and more. Sometimes there's 10+ adults to an apartment. They take over the entire neighborhood. My brother and his family moved out when they wereone of only four Americans still living in the block. This is allowed by the citybecause the zoning officer turns a deaf ear to complaints about single family units being turned into double and triple family units.Anything in Judy's backyard is hands-off.

what a shame this crime is and yet again a bigger shame that it's somehow everyone else's fault but the guy who pulled the trigger. knew that judy's name would somehow make it into the fray somewhere.
It's absolutely tragic ... how about we all bow our heads and say a prayer ... this is not something we should try and blame on anyone in the city administration ... or on city council ... It's not Mayor Doherty's fault ... It's not Judy Gatelli's, Sherri Fanucci's ... or Bob McGoff's fault ... this is a true tradgy. This had nothing to do with ethincity ... this was one sick individual who committed this terrible crime ... he has been aprehended (great job by law enforcement) ... and now we wait for him to be punished for his crimes.

The shooter wasn't sick. He had absolutely no moral code. Did you see those people? Did you see that house? Did you notice that despicable "ex-boxer" who had twenty-four children all around the country? Hardly any of them worked. They all had kids at 16 and 17. Should people be whacked with a hammer and stabbed? Of course not. But this was a powder keg that could easily have dragged in innocent bystanders. Thank God he didn't shoot outside or hit a child on a bike (or me) in the daytime.
This is the element that is beginning to infiltrate the easily-accessible (low-cost) areas of the county. Their color doesn't matter. Their inability to recognize any boundaries is what scares me.
YA GOTTA LOVE CASHURIC WITH THIS COMMENT OF HIS FROM ACROSS THE HALL -- TOO DAMNED FUNNY !! I WONDER IF THE GUY FROM MARC'S TATTOO LOOKS AT THESE NEWSREELS AND SAYS "HEY THAT'S ONE OF MINE!"
Scranton Times: Father Of The Year Award - 2008 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"With 24 children living in different U.S. cities, the former boxer from Puerto Rico said Justin was his final child, and the only one he helped raise."
A true American hero. Someone should have checked the child support records across the country and arrested him...for anything.
Way to go, Jose. Spread that Harvard-educated seed around.
An interesting sidenote...these people seemed to spend more money at the tattoo parlor than on things like shampoo and toothpaste.
