So, what would you do if Ray Lyman had pictures of your house from your yard?? Can't believe that this is being made light of "over there." Public official or not, you don't give up EVERY bit of your privacy when you take office. wondering what everyone thinks of thismess. somehow Anti started saying something about military service concerning Ray Lyman. does anyone know anything more of this? the military accepted him? as what?

This is complete and utter BULL$HIT. Anti's lame attempt to somehow tie military service to what Lyman did is like my trying to tie my tendency to overeat with changes in barometric pressure.

As for the rest of them, I highly doubt that they would be so inclined towards rationalizations if it was a Ray Lyman in their yards.

What should be done here? Well the "class act" thing to do would be for Pilchesky to say that what Lyman did was wrong, period. Yes, Ms Nealon-Fanucci should be questioned about her residency....people on this board (me included) questioned Lee Morgan's residency when he ran for council...and that's fair game. That's also where it should end. The moment it moves beyond questions and into the arena of physical acts, then it's gone too far.

So let's see if Pilchesky has the testosterone to do the right thing here...I doubt he will...but let's just see.

As for me, this is reason #456 why I would never make a good public servant, mainly because the moment something someone did impacted my wife or my children, then all bets would be off.

See? This is why I chose to be an Inland Taipan. I would definitely bite Ray Lyman in the calf after this...and then probably die from the toxic backwash.

Horrible behavior and totally unacceptable. Just bring up the legitimate issue respectably and thank her for answering. While we're on the topic, the house is for sale and seems to be rarely (if ever) used. If it goes pending, I believe Ms. Fanucci should resign, which seems to be the plan in any event.

Lyman should be barred from the council meetings. He is there solely to harass and threaten. I'm embarrassed watching him.

1. Her residency is game for open and public discussion, particularly where she openly put the house up for sale.

2. Residency has been an issue with other public officials:

a. Shimkus tossed off the ballot over residency;

b. Balton's wife tossed of the ballot for NP school board over residency;

c. Scranton cop just fired over residency;

d. A Dickson City councilwoman was recently booted off council for moving outside the district. It took legal action for borough officials to get inside the address she claimed was her residence.

Fanucci is perfectly capable of living outside the city limits and maintaining a position on council. God knows she's stupid enough to do that. Lyman may be on to something, who knows. The tears are tears of guilt for me. No need for that horrible side show if she has nothing to hide.



By Joe's logic, the mere suspicion of her potentially breaking a rule makes trespassing on her private property, stalking and potentially scaring the crap out of a minor child perfectly ok.

What Lyman did was reprehensible; Pilchesky's (and Anti, and others) rationalization of it is even worse because it simply encourages more of the same.

If you go back into the archives you will see that they used to accuse Sherri of living in Clarks Summit ... Now it's Dalton ... make up your minds guys and gals ... and hell if you are not stalking her then how is it you know where she goes for a few drinks ... who she is dating ... the fact that she spends nights with the gentleman that she is dating ... you knew about her daughter going to Northern Lights ... we here at PD have saved posts that show that you are in fact stalking her and that some have in fact been stalking her for more than a year now ... we save **** like that here!

I would like to know as other PD members when was it that Ray served this country ... what war was he in that Anti keeps speaking about ... do you know for sure that he did this ... or is a figment of his very active imagination ... I have to agree with IHave ... I don't think that the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines takes such individuals ... althogh at one time it was much easier to get in than it is now ... so who really knows ... but all I can say is ... Forrest Gump ... even Gomer Pyle ...

Ray does not have the right to stalk anybody ... public official or not .... and he certainly should not be calling her repeatedly ... public official or not ... and before these nuts ask for that resignation don't you think that a unbiased party should do an investigation ... Not the kids across the hall or that nut of a leader of theirs ... and I would bet that Edith went with Ray ... or maybe Dan ... they are the official Photographers of DD and the Doomers aren't they.

Now on this same subject (Ray) the kids across the hall are screaming censorship by ECTV61 ... I do not think that they are required to catch the off camera stuff ... are they ... I don't think that putting Sherri on TV crying would be of any value to most of the Public ...

Sherri Joe Pilchesky has promoted and condones this behavior by Ray Lyman ... I would sue his ass off as I do not really think Ray did it on his own ... he was more likely than not pushed and bullied into it by the kids across the hall ... and well I don't think the guy knows any better ... he so wants to please them ... because remember how a year ago they were making threats to him because he apologized to Judy ... it's all in the Archives ...

This post strictly represents my personal opinion and nothing more than an opinion ... and to that I am entitled.

Pilchesky is crying like a jilted schoolgirl that ECTV edited the Lyamn footage (which they did...I caught the re-broadcast around 7:30pm-ish), and is making his usually typical "I'll sue" inuendos. Well if he sue's over that, what's next?

- Suing the Jerry Springer show for now showing the breasts of fighting trailor trash?
- Suing MTV for blurring out the logos on countless rap "artists" shirts and hats?
- Suing the local "wacky morning zoo" radio program for playing the "clean" version of some tawdry song?
- Suing TV channels for re-formatting a movie to fit TV screens?

Oh, and what transpired between Ms Nealon-Fanucci and Ray Lyman off-camera did not involve votes or debates about any city-business issues. In fact, Lyman asked his residency question on-camera before the screen went black. What wasn't shown, from what I gather, is Sherry breaking down and crying. Now what does that say about the real area of interest for Pilchesky, Anti, et all?

Personally I am glad that it wasn't shown. The only interest I would have in seeing that is the same interest I have in looking at roadkill....morbid fascination, but that's it. Given that this whole thing was about trying to humiliate another human being, my morbid fascnination comes in last in comparision to Ms Nealon-Fanucci's right not to have her stalker brag on local public-access TV.

Hell, JOey doesn't even get ch61 - remember all those posts by him and EDith that they had their cable removed because it clouds their brains.

And if JOey is soooooooo concerned about what happens at council, then why doesn't he get himself to the meetings and see for himself.

Public official or not, everyone is entitled to a reasoable amount of privacy. If Ray wants to take pictures from the street or alley so be it (after a while the stalking laws would come into play), but numerous phone calls and going on the property to take pictures is over the line and he shouold pay the price. Further more how would JOey BOy feel if folks started showing up in his back yard to take pictures?


Furthermore I believe the military thing was put out there to some how show that Ray had a right to do what he did.

One last thing - From the mouth and mind of Mr. My Speech, NOt Freedom of Speech on JOey LAnD: JOey is cryin' about howCH61 must show all of the council meeting proceedings - not!! Broadcast of the council meetings is a previlage, not a right - just like posting on JOey LAnd.

I could be wrong so I'm checking the constituition to see if our forefathers had written in there about Scranton City Council meetings must be shown to the public.

I think even Old Baldy across the hall knows the pictures taken from Sherri's yard are taboo -- otherwide they'd be posted over there for the world to see. No, joe knows what was done was wrong, but he'll never call anyone on the carpet and will NEVER admit to the fact that he was the instigator that plied (pushed, pulled, paid) Ray Lyman to do it. And where the hell were the neighbors who lived around Sherri? Not that it was their responsibility for a neighborhood watch, but if I saw someone like Ray Lyman nosing about my neighbors yard and playing photog, I'd have set the dogs on him.

On a personal note, Sherri may not be our best representative for City Council, but she is a good person at heart. She (and certainly her daughter) do not deserve this ration of bull$hit just because pilcheski's got a hard-on for city administration.

Chin up Sherri. This stunt just might be the straw which breaks the camel's back.

So according to Anti if Ray is a veteran he has the right to stalk a public official. I might not read all the fine print, but no oath I ever took or Department of Defense Document I have ever signed entitled me to be above any laws. I am sick of the koncil crazy veterans (Sammy, Bill, Joe T and now Ray) using their military service as a pedestal which they feel make them smarter, or know more about government than anyone else. The military is like any other job force, you have good workers and you have jacka$$es. Unfortunately for fellow veterans in Scranton, the jacka$$es need to get their 5 minutes of fame each week and become an embarrassment.

These goons are the types of Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, or Marines that their leadership spend 95% of their time having to deal with their jacka$$ery.
