"Politically Speaking" is probably Pilchesky's (and his self-described "Bottomfeeder" followers) favorite term. It's like a magic elixir for them: simply sprinkle it on to the most offensive of postings and presto, in their minds it's supoosedly not nearly as offensive.

We have Joe threatening to ruin people, "Politically Speaking".

We have someone saying that Sherry Nealon-Fanucci is pregant, "Politically Speaking".

The threat to slap Doug Miller I am sure was just "Politically Speaking".

etc.

All of this coming from someone who has never run for political office (maybe because of some legal troubles?) Ok, so he's not ever been (nor will he ever be) a candidate...so how many political campaigns has he run? [Silence, crickets chirping, etc.] The answer, I believe is zero. So "politically speaking", what makes Joe Pilchesky so "polticially" astute?

...Because he got Cordaro off the ballot? Gee, a mentally retarded blind man could have gotten Cordaro off the ballot. Cordaro pratically put a billboard up on I81 saying "I am an idiot. Please call me out on it. Thank You." Pilchesky was shooting fish in a barrel on that one. Any number of people could have pulled that one off. If anything, Pilchesky was used as a hammer by people he actually despises.

...Because he got Shimkus off the ballot? Shimkus will most likely win re-election AND, because of Pilchesky's suit, is probably sharper now than he ever was, "politically speaking". Real shrewd move on Pilchesky's part...make your supposed enemy even stronger. I don't recall reading that strategy in Sun Tzu's "Art of War".

...Because he's caused so much harm to Mayor Doherty? Oh, wait a minute, he hasn't caused ANY HARM to Mayor Doherty. In fact, Mayor Doherty doesn't even acknowledge that Pilchesky exists. Scratch that one.

...Because he's driven Judy Gatelli off City Council? Oh, wait a minute, Judy Gatelli is still on City Council. Scratch that one too.


So "Politically Speaking" Joe Pilchesky is an incompetent bully with too much free time on his hands. But that's just my opinion.

Politically speaking, Pilchesky is about as dangerous as a starter pistol. Makes a whole lot of noise, but doesn't really do anything else other than that.
