Ozzie's asking about the Scranton Post, an alleged newspaper supposedly starting in June. Sounds a bit miffed that this got higher off the ground than his movement to get the Times Leader to Lackawanna County.
Anyway, Oz-man, here's some points of interest for you.
1. The website has not been updated in over a month. Not a good sign. 2. The topic of the Post was undertaken on another message board in late March. Consensus there is that it's a joke, or an ego-stroke. 3. In any event, the spelling on the website is atrocious, as Glenn pointed out. Are these supposed to be professional journalists working for the "paper"? 4. I suppose that's to be expected when you solicit a staff by posting on Craigslist.
I for one can't wait for this to get off the ground. I promised the kids a hamster, and sure could use the shredded copies as bedding. I'll be sure to stock up in the six weeks that the tabloid exists.
...the TL coming to Scranton; this is the same newspaper that, in a feat of sheer brilliance, managed to endorse BOTH Don Sherwood and Rick Santorum. If Himmler came back from Hell TL Publisher Connor would probably endorse him for Congress.
...some new piece of crap tabloid coming to Scranton, complete with all the news that the Scranton Times will not print. Quick...grab the first edition and read about the UFO landing in Randsom Township!
The Times-Shamrock folks, to the extent they even pay attention to Pilchesky's meaningless meanderings, must really bust a gut over this stuff.

It is absolutely not Ozzie Quinn. Trust me. You would like this person if you met them in real life, and I don't mean that as a slam against Mr. Quinn. I merely state that you would approve.
