Yerke can't be held liable for any losses that Covington suffers as the result of his misconduct. That's the risk that is taken when you elect someone. On another note, I am being beseiged with calls from people from Covington Township offering to join this lawsuit with me in case standing becomes an issue, and even if standing isn't an issue. People want in. They really detest this guy and what he's done.

To those people, I say just hold on until I get the legal response from Yerke's lawyer. We'll find out what it will be soon enough. If he raises standing as an issue, I'll address it at that time.

I think overextended is a better word for him. His near term legal battles include the criminal defense of his wife and the ongoing south side complex ordeal all while the mayoral race is getting ready to kick off. All of this going on and he choose to take legal action against the Supervisor of a 2,000 person town in which he does not live nor has any vested interest. To the besiegers from Covington who continue to call Mighty Joe, why did Tom Yerke run unopposed? Two Board Seats available, he and another were the only one's who ran.

I would love to take a look at Mighty Joe's scheduling calendar:
Monday: South Side Complex,
Tuesday: Prepare speeches for the Council Crazies / Bash Mayor on Website
Wednesday: Prepare for Edith's Trial
Thursday: South Side Complex Day
Friday: Covington Case


He may have to hire on Patilla and Hubbard, forming the fictional legal team of Pilchesky, Patilla, and Hubbard.

He's going to need some more suits!
