I don't know when this house burned, but it's still wide open and I heard that kids from the school wander about in it. Isn't this something that Brazil should be taking care of?

I do not believe that it is the responsibility of the DPW to board up BURNED out houses. I do believe that it is either the responsibility of the homeowner themselves or the Fire Dept. What the F^ck ... if it bothers you so much use some of your daddy's money and buy the boards and put them up yourself!

The pictures don't really illustratethe deplorable condition of the house. Drive by and look for yourself; it's near the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Maple Street.

The house is and has been a safety hazard for months. It's ironic how fast the "Providence TV" building near Stirna's restaurant was razed, while this potential disaster sits idle.

Thehome owner should be forced to demolish the property; if not,the deputy director of public safety should take action.

Somehow, I get the impression "public safety" takes a backseat to political agenda..........
The Providence TV building near Stirna's did not burn ... it was a building that was bought by Cathy Gavin to expand her business ... so how the hell does this compare to a burned out building in South Side? And it was not a building that was "unsafe" again it was bought by someone who wanted to expand her business!

I keep hearing that (or reading in this case) ... but I have never even bothered to take a trip to 819 Sunset. Is it really as shabby as people are saying?

What...Mr Free Speech Joe Pilchesky (except just don't criticize Joe, Edith or Janet Evans) is being hypocritical? Nahhhhhh, I don't buy it.

Hypocracy is a full time job for those two! I guess it's like that old saying ... "Takes one to know one!"

Who better to sniff out corruption than someone who is a professional at it! But that's just my opinion!
