We all know how much Joe likes to claim that he's "scooped" the Times, even though we all know that an on-line, real time, unmoderated message board will ALWAYS post information before a printed once daily newspaper, which is constrained by deadlines, press runs, and distribution. It's simply not that big of a deal to anyone, but Ironhead loves to crow about it in an attempt to gain a shred of credibility as a "news source."
Lately, however, it seems that the tides are turning. A few weeks ago, Joanne posted something as news (maybe about the Clinton visit), only to have it pointed out to her that the Times website posted it at least 30 minutes earlier.
Today, in an update blurb on the SU building sale, we find this seemingly innocuous line: "TheTimes-Tribune.com first broke the news of the building's sale on Saturday." All that was missing was a parenthetical "Suck It, Pilchesky!"
I can imagine Brown typing that sentence with one hand, with the extended middle finger of the other hand aimed directly at 819 Sunset Ave.
I hope that single sentence alone has given Pilchesky a crippling migrane.

don't forget the ethical, moral and legal obligations
Hmmmm, Joe Pilchesky & Michael Jackson...one has been accused of liking little boys and one acts like a little boy. Go figure.
Anyway, if you are reading this Stacy, great article. Next time I am in California, I'll stop in a Vons just to see if Marlon is around.
Oh, and one more thing...we have Stacy regularly published in widely circulated newpapers getting his credibility questioned by a guy that has been unsuccessfully begging a small-town radio station, WILK, for a call-in show. Gee, I'm thinking the credibility nod goes to Stacy.

I agree Ag that was a great Article ... Joe would like everyone to think that Stacy is a Hack ... but that shows just how wrong Joe is about Stacy ... Great Article Stacy ... thanks for sharing that Ag!

Thanks guys for the kind words. It's even better coming from here because I know if and when I deserve criticism, you will also do that too. Unlike "others" you guys will always speak freely and fair even if everyone else doesn't agree. Thanks for giving me a forum to also make some expressions.
In dd world hack means best selling author, network correspondent, and award winning journalist on both coasts.
Friggin' guy is a loser. Damn him for ever coming here. Maybe we'll luck out and he and his talent will go away.
Maybe we'll get luckier and Joe will go first.
Stacy is a class act and a real man. I'd take a bullet for the guy and I barely know him. Joe made Stacy a rock star by busting his balls the way he did. Rock on Stacy!
Indeed Stacy, a very good article. We were discussing in a different thread our thoughts on the up coming presidential election. What are your thoughts? I would love to read your take on this election. This is the most exciting election in my memory, at least to me anyway.
My thoughts are that we have three flawed candidates.
We'll all be forced to pick the one we have the most hope for, but none have really convinced us what life during their presidency would be like - except maybe McCain. He's old and goose stepping w/ Bush over Iraq. Hillary keeps piling on the baggage, and the minute Obama had the chance to make the average white person ignore color he wouldn't distance himself from the Rev. Wright.
All bets are off. Least damaged candidate will win. Too bad, we deserve better.
