RE: Sam Pitilla free of all charges I'm sorry it took so long to reply
It seemed that after every visit to City Council I lost Internet Access (about 5 weeks in all-since the middle of Dec. 07 to the present) , so I told Commie-Cast to take their connection and shove-it.
After conferring with the Judge, who for all intents and purposes was a very fair man during this whole process. The Judge pushed for me to allow him to appoint an attorney for me because he didn't feel that I was schooled enough in the legal process enough so that I wouldn't miss out on presenting my case in a timely fashion and in regards to the rules associated with the same.
However, I rebuked those attempts by the Judge because I just couldn't accept anyone coming from within any portion of the current administration (public defender's office) claiming to have My (the Citizens of Scranton's) best interest at heart.
As far as the plea deal is concerned, Simply stated I have to keep my nose clean and show some decorum while attending Public Meeting for the next 3 months (actually it's 2 months as of this posting). The Judge although he agreed with much of what I stated at Council Meetings and stated that after viewing the unedited copy of that Meeting that I submitted for evidence over 30 times found others more disorderly than I.
I chose the route that I chose for the simple fact that I can't be tied up in court on this matter because it would result in my losing a part of my "VOICE" and with the mayor's election right around the corner I have to be "FREE" to speak against the Pay to Play Politics and the total disregard for the Tax Payers that has been in place since doherty and austin burke were placed into office (those two and their cronies have to be put in check).
The Malfeasance, Cronyism, and "DISRESPECT/CONTEMPT" show to and of the Tax Payers by both burke and doherty has to be "STOPPED!
And as such I have to be able to go to and fro (Council Meeting, County Meetings and those held on both the State and FEDERAL levels) because I haven't ran across anyone that can either Speak for Me nor get "MY" message across in a manner suitable and acceptable by Me!
It has cost me $525.00 dollars for those that have a need to know - the only stipulation placed on me by the Judge is that of showing decorum while attending Public Meeting nothing more nothing less
And considering that doherty's once numerous boasts of heading to harrisburg has been replaced with what will amount to a very vain attempt (to say the least) at retaining his seat in the Mayor's office, "WE" are making a DIFFERENCE" and people are taking notice.
burke, the honest people are coming can you hear "US" - that Federal Indictment of the head of the SHA is just the beginning.
VIVA La TAX PAYERS
So there you have it..."Be a good boy & pay a fine". Hmmmmmmm, a little different than "owning this town" wouldn't you say? Oh and for the record, Sam did the right thing here...it's the blowhards at DD (like Bo Peep) who crowed about his pending victory that look like idiots.

Sammy - Good Luck with taking on Austin Burke and the Scranton Chamber of Commerce. Remember, the chamber is a private entity and neither Austin or any of the other members of the chamber get there by being elected. Businesses are asked to join the chamber for a fee (maybe your landscaping company can join) and depending on how much you contribute you get named to be on or head a specific group within the chamber.
