No, you're right on several counts, and I certainly do not equate racial insults with name-calling. While I believe there are some low blows tossed out here as well, I admit that no one has ever crossed the line and gone beyond simply stating that certain people annoy the hell out of them.

Jim has a legitimate beef with Frank Shimkus, and he did some investigating to prove that Frank does NOT live where he swore he did. The evidence is clear. He was offering this information to Joe Pilchesky because he knew Joe would be filing suit against both Frank and Kevin. That is all.

DD still serves a purpose (in my view) as a sounding board where some valuable information occasionally leaks out, though its message has become somewhat murky lately. In the interest of dismounting from my own high horse, I will also admit that I still correspond with several of the posters and my viewpoints occasionally filter through, particularly concerning Mr. DeNaples and the perjury charges.

Nah, I don't think theres one bit of 'valuable information' on that site, anywhere. Joe Pilchesky, his wife, and a couple of other kooks have multiple screen names and converse with each other in order to give the appearance that many people share their views. They use insults, gossip, and rumor to get noticed, and unfortunately for them, not many people are paying atttention anymore. (see associated thread regarding hits vs. views)

I love the post where some says many people know that Kevin Murphy stopped by the Pilchesky house. Now how the Hell would anyone know that except Pilchesky or Murphy? I have known Kevin Murphy all my life, and if I get the opportunity to run into him during his campaign, I'm going to tell him exactly what I think. Didn't somebody say something about lying with dogs?

Oh by the way ... Hillary Clinton stopped by my house for coffee yesterday ... she asked for the support of the PD posters ... Barack Obama is comming by this afternoon! I just thought you would all like to know ... Girl your coming over aren't you ... you didn't forget did you?
