20 bizzes leave - 1 comes in - headline about the one In true Lynett style today's headline features a biz that just moved into the old Train Store promising sugar plums and apple dumplings. When is the headline going to read "20 Businesses packed it up last year" and moved to greener pastures? These Rosados have an affinity for higher taxes and lower street traffic. "Scranton is definitely coming back", said Marilee Barone of semian Real Estate. Hey, I though Scranton was already revitalized. Which one is it, Mayor? Revitalized or coming back? What a flippin joke.
RE: 20 bizzes leave - 1 comes in - headline about the one If my employer draggged me into a community where my wage tax deduction doubled, maybe tripled, I'd quit right there. There are plenty of other places to set up shop. Something is up with this deal. The paper has had many headlines that made Scranton appear to be "coming back". Headlines won't do it, a new mayor with strong leadership will. This guy is a whackjob
RE: 20 bizzes leave - 1 comes in - headline about the one Whereis their faith in Scranton as homeowners/taxpayers? Guess they don't want to live in Little Mexico, just do business with it.

RE: 20 bizzes leave - 1 comes in - headline about the one Is this new outfit that bought the train store trying to become part of the ICN's? Do they let folks from south of the border in? I would like the Researchers to Post the Particulars on this new company and see what they are all about. I hear there are thousands of complaints with AG and other agencies about their practices. Should fit in with Doherty and his crowd. Lets see if they are going to use their own money or will get some of the Do's to refurbish the place. My bet is taxpayers money and maybe a KOZ.
The above posts are examples of the moronic thinking habits of those who post on DD. Mr Wilson's is my favorite. I was wondering how long it would take someone to bring up the fact that the guy is a native of Mexico.
Some people just can't handle the thought of anyone having a little success.
Rosado group is a shady group of con artists, though. Just do a search for any of their dealerships on the Better Business Bureau site and you'll see a POOR rating for each of them. Multiple unacknowledged complaints. I've dealt with Dickson City Hyundai, and it was a nightmare...horrible customer service, unwilling to honor their warranty (not to mention I found out the hard way that Hyundais are garbage.....sort of a "Dollar Store" version of a Honda or a Toyota).
Personally I'll laugh if they ever go out of business.

If you pay a low dollar amount to buy the car, you'll get the bare minimum when you go to sell it or have insurance dish out some cash for repairs.
If you buy a Subaru or Honda, sure, you pay a lot to buy it, but when you sell it ten years later, the blue book value is still pretty high. Same thing with Volvo and Toyota.
