Shame we're not strong enough in numbers as a public organization to show up there first, 200 strong, take up all the seats and abuse the hell out of him until he runs for the exit. I agree, this is an early start on any 09 election. Speaks to his insecurity and lack of confidence in his record as the biggest corrupt thief in our city's history. Even with a one year jump on anyone else, he's in deep, deep $hit.

Part of our problem lies with nobody knowing what, when, or how to go for an office or title such as comittee man or delegate for the conventions. Is there a list we can find BEFORE the final date comes in. Could not find it on Lackawanna. org.

That is the REAL problem with this area, too many bitch and want to be spoon fed and take no INITIATIVE the number is 963-6737. The 62,000 doillar director of elections will be happy to answer.

INFO FROM ELECTION CALENDAR ON PETITIONS AND OTHER INFO:

1. First Day to circulate and file Petitions- Jan 22

2. Last day to circulate and file nomination petitions- February 12

3. First Day to circulate and file nomination Papers- February 13

4. Last day for withdrawal by candidates who file nomination petitions

5. Last day to register before Primary- March 24

These are most important dates to remember

General Primary this year is early- April 22

There are things I know and you don't butit does not make you lazy or stupid and vise verse.You were most kind to include a phone number. Did younotice how Joe followed your post. Not you stupid thing this is how it works. But citizen this is the process Good Luck and join in, this is your right.If a person would like to participate but does notknow how, gently guide and encourage them. There are many things in live that are not self evident to many of us. A kind guide would be a friend for life. I have a cell phone. The techie who wrote the instruction book made it as simple as he could, with his TERMS. I read English.Reading the book it took me 6 months to find out how toput addresses into it, using the book. If I lost the book I would have to throw the phone away. Am I lazy and stupid, could be.

It's about G.D. time someone across the hall has uttered these words. And it reads as if this person actually means what he/she has said. Yet when Bob McGoff says from the Council dias it is not his job to "fetch" information for one of these LOD whiners, he gets lambasted from the peanut gallery. It is his job to be a liaison between "the people" and "the entity". It certainly is NOT his job to play step-and-fetch-it for these lazy asses.

Get off you big fat internet and make an effort for cripes' sake. Do SOMEthing for yourself.
