I know that it's still a week from being official, and that his rumor accuracy is running in the single digits, but that's not what this is about. I'm shocked that the bolded sentence below actually came from his booger crusted fingertips.
Introducing your NEW City Council President.. Mr. Robert McGoff.
I'd like to wish Mr.Robert McGoff a successful and productive term as the new City Council President.Mr. McGoff is an educatedand articulate man who has shown poise and composure since his appointment, as controversial as it was. He did win the seat he now occupies andshould be treated with the respect that he deserves. The Gatelli era of constitutional oppression, lack of respectable leadership and uncontrolable urges to adjournand/or cancel meetingsis over.
Jeez, Joe. You really think your goons know the first thing about respect? You're still very much a joke. This doesn't change anything. Although it does give you a fantastic cop out when you fail to keep your word: "I decided not to file my promised lawsuits at this time due to the fact that I will give the new leadership an opportunity to right the ship and blah, blah, blah..."
RE: Introducing your NEW City Council President.. Clearly, it's the same wolf in crony clothing. Gatelli is now VP. New seating order, from left to right; Janet Evans, Bill Courtright, Bob McGoff, Judy Gatelli and Sherry Fanucci. Finance Chair may change hands.
So if Doherty leaves, as Joe has rumored he is, also with no hard evidence and for about the 67th time, and assuming that by some hiccup in reason that his original "prediction" is true, then that would put McGoff in the mayor's seat, Gatelli back as council president, and a 3-2 "ICN" vote to fill McGoff's council seat. Right?
BRILLIANT!!!
Yep, shoving it up Pilchesky's ass one potato at a time...
Wishing him success? Hmmmmmmm....this is coming from the same forum where Mr McGoff'schildren were shamelessly brought up during the last election by Joe's goon squad.
Mr Checkov, set phasers for disingenuous...

Free Speech does't require a multi-paragrah disclaimer Mr. Pilchesky.
So many things wrong with Joe's theories and assertions.
1) I take the McGoff post as complete tongue in cheek. Nothing but sarcasm.
b) Doherty goes nowhere until Kanjorski does. Chris is too much a local Dem to oppose him, and everyone knows he wants the seat.
If Doherty resigns during a term, it will be after he wins reelection for mayor. The only hope is to find a way to beat him in the primary. No way Evans, DiBileo or some Republican hack beat him in a general election. You've got to split the votes and hope for a freaky turnout by the screwheads for him to lose a primary.
Joe and his guys need a better plan. The best thing that happens to Doherty is that Evans AND DiBileo oppose him in a primary. He'll win with 40% of the vote and the other two will cancel each other out.
I bet I'm right.
PS: I like the finance chair proposed budget - especially the part where she slashed OECD salaries from the city budget - not realizing the city doesn't pay them. Now that's one smart teacher!
