Mellow's been a lousy controller, but I can't fathom why people would vote for someone like Ken McDowell. There have to be more qualified candidates than McDowell. It doesn't sound as if his track record as tax collector is exactly stellar. Yet people voted for him because, unfortunately. way too many people in this county vote based on party registration and/or endorsement rather than by examining the issues/candidates and making informed decisions.

Don't base anything you here at DD about ken as fact. He is not perfect nor are any of us but he is a good guy and does a good job. The goons on the other site do not know him they justhear the stories from one another and elaborate on them and blow them up in their own head. It is funny to read some of the whoppers they produce.

Ken McDowell has to prove that he would be a bad Controller. John Mellow already has. The tantrum on his part only proves his worst critics right.
