Puzzler ... it must be another paper that they are reading ... don't tell me they read the times ... they would never break their boycott that they have placed on the times. There is nothing but lies according to the kids across the hall in the times.

I used to support janet evans in her elections but I can't do it any more for the main reason she represents the wrong people the people at the meeting all the Nuts.

Good for you legion. I remember my mother always saying when I was growing up"tell me who your friends are and I will tell youwho you are".....she was correct then and she is correct still......Just look who Missy Jan decided to marry, have children with, and stay with all these years. What does that tell you about her?? Imagine if you can allowing your children to be influenced bysomeone like him.....Imagine, if you can, allowing your children to be around someone like Fay on a regular basis....Imagine having someone as hateful, racist, and frankly somewhat fixated on other men's sex lives almost to the point of obsession as Joey-boy into your home and at your dinner table.....Imagine the kind of person you would have to be to allow that to go on without a thought.....shameful.

I think that has been a problem for many politicians over the years ... the politicians want help ... and when the Fay's of the world come knocking ... well they are so desperate for people to help work on a campaign that they do not stop to think about the consequences that surrounding themselves with these people (nuts) bring.

Fay has spent the last 15 years complaining about everything. In fact, I think she complains just for the sake of complaining...it's sort of become a hobby for her. What an incredibly sad way to live your life.

There are some people in this life that are not happy unless they have something to complain about and well I think that Fay is definitely one of these people .... as are many of the DD'ers and Doomers ... they would not know what to do with themselves if they had nothing to bitch about ... and if Janet thinks that they will not find fault with her should she ever (highly doubtful) become mayor ... well then she is very delusional ... because no matter who holds that office ... they will slam ... that is just the way they are.

Hummmm defamation VS threats think that might make a difference you miserable shrew?  If in fact Judy can not get the identities, if I were her I would then put the full weight of the lawsuit right on baldy’s shoulders. Let him foot the full price tag of any award…I predict he comes across with the names voluntarily at that point.

I agree completely with Hardcore-- sure we should defend ourselves but being gay or Jewish should not even be an issue-- it is trying to put someone down for their beliefs--certainly they may be unlike others-- so what?  Burton would write whatever Doherty wanted even if he liked sea gulls instead of women/men--matters not --it doesn't even enter into the picture--AND if it does--it should not!! Being gay or Jewish does not make anyone worse than anyone else-- and the writings here have tried to use those words in a negative way against Burton-- which in my estimation is completely uncalled for and should not be done--There is enough things to write about Jeremy other than digging for--- I don't even know what to call it---gossip?- Hey, just my opinion but it sure takes away from what people want to learn on this site--People who are gay and Jewsish should be very proud of being both-- period! The posting below reminded me of Foam'n Fay's dire warning about Scranton High School...you know, that if it were built, there would be this massive increase in homeless senior citizens, frogs would rain down from the sky, a plague of locusts would descend upon the city, Skynet would launch an all-out nuclear stike against humanity (sorry, shameless Terminator reference there...), etc.

Somehow I think Scranton will survive no matter who wins the election.

Yes indeed I couldn’t agree more.  We do pay their salaries (In Miss Clairol’s case that would be two salaries) and I agree the public is in the mood to vote all the bums out >>>>>>ALL<<<<<< being the key word here.  In case you forget Fay, Miss Clairol has been there longer than the others and has accomplished nothing! Well actually she has done one thing she has helped foster and take root a circus like atmospher by allowing the loons to take over the show. Beyond that... she has done nothing!

Larry's Restaurant on S. Washinton Avenue I am happy to say is opening any day now-- with a new owner--Sharon--She used to work at the South Side Bowling Alley for over 10 years--and has purchased Larry's and is calling it "SHARON'S"--She is a fantastic cook-- once you go there you'll go back again and again--they have re-done the place and everything is spotless--It will be open every day for breakfast and lunch-- I for one will be there often--I used to go to the bowling Ally-but now that Sharon is here--well--that is where I will be--and besides--what a cook!!!! So keep an eye open for the opening-it will be any day now!!

In my teenage years I washed dishes at a 4H Camp...and my bosses boss was, you guessed it, the late Mrs Strutin. Let's just say that she was a woman of strong opinions.biggrin

Indeed...we probably did.  In fact, I think I have a picture laying around here somewhere from "back in the day".  It was such a great job...I washed dishes, got paid $60/week (a fortune back then) + all the food I could eat + a cabin, and then got to spend the rest of my time doing whatever I wanted.  The only downside was the fact that I sliced by left pinky with a meat slicer my first week on the job.

She certainly doesn't do anything for ME when she sits up there.

She doesn't speak TO me from up there.
If she was speaking to me , I would be thoroughly insulted because I am not a remedial third grader. (apologies to remedial third graders everywhere).

She hasn't brought one piece of legislation forward which benefits me and mine in ANY way. Has she brought ANY legislation forward?

The only thing I have seen her do with any success is a) sneer to the left every chance she gets, b) make demands of people instead of maybe making a request, c) pander to the dd'ers who show up en masse to sing her praises, d) work Kay's Ticonderoga's down to the nub with all her "Let's send a letter to ..." crap

and I am sure there are many many many things to add to this

OK which is it......Fay is on medication for her borderline personality disorder or she knows what Glen wrote is accurate?  I vote it is the latter.

Abbey, I disagree completely- two wrongs certainly do not make a right--they lost yes, they will suffer enough on their own--it won't be easy for them, please don't go after them--we should be happy, not looking for ways to get even with them-- It does not matter what they did to us-we repaid them beautifully in the election booth. Now we must simply move on and look forward to what the new majority can do for us-- and concentrate on helping them get elected again in November--this election is NOT over-- vengeance is not the answer here--it never will be--to pick on Judy and Sherry is immature and simply not right. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Never forget that--My Mom always said," Never do anything you would be afraid to tell me about". That should  always be a moral compass when you go to speak--Speaking poorly of Judy and Sherry is not a good thing--let them be--and just concentrate on how we can help this new council win in November and then be there to support them come January.
