In my travels today I found myself going past Foam at the Mouths House. And what to my surprise....... A sign in her yard supporting Pat Rogan.
Poor Pat. I truly feel bad for him. Because if he does get elected doesn't he realize that the minute he does ONE THING that Foam doesn't agree with, HE is going to be crucified. Facing torture and torment on a weely basis compliments of Fay Foam At The Mouth herslef.
I know if I was a political candidate I would actually ask her NOT to vote for me.
Now was there a Minicozzi sign in her yard as well? As I recall, they were buddies back when Fay was trying to convince us that having students attend the oldest functioning high school in Pennsylvania was a good thing.
Hey Fay, where are all those elderly who were displaced as a result of the construction of Scranton High School?

Just you wait Thursday...I'm sure that the flyers with have a major impact...on local street litter that is.
Speaking of the flyers, I am bummed that I didn't get one. I was hoping "Mr Hecky Shecky" himself would put one on my car or in my mailbox, as I only live a few blocks away.

Do they plan on blanketing the city overnight? I haven't seen any of them ... haven't even seen any littering the ground ... haven't even heard people talking about them.
Is this another of his rabid-dog, figment-of-his-imagination rants ?
I thought that I would be handed one when I went to vote by either Granma or her son Nobody .... but they were not there handing out anything ... hmmmmm ... I thought that these people were organized and were all getting together to achieve Mr. Pilchesky's mission of ruining the city of Scranton and bringing every politician to their knees ...
Guess I was wrong ... they are all talk and no action! I didn't think they would be out there ... I saw the silly flyer on the DD site .... what a bunch of crap!

I am going to try to get the link up here for you, asthe actual posterreally isn't copying very good.Copying it is corrupting the layout and dropping off the graphics.
You will need adobeI think to open it. If that doesn't work for you maybe one of thecrew can actually get it to copy over. They seem to be able to work a computer well, unlike me. :))
Pat Rogan should finish his college studies and move out of the area as quickly as possible, maybe to some rapidly-growing urban area where he can earn a competitive salary and sit around some cool club on the weekends telling all his friends that he almost won a seat on the Scranton city council at age 20.
The whole Rogan thing reminds me of a situation we had at work years ago. The Law Department hired a new attorney who was so young that a few of us thought that maybe his credentials were fake and his getting hired was really all just a part of some elaborate fraternity prank. Seriously...the guy looked like a fetus. Anyway, I had the same impression about Rogan when I saw him at the LoWV debate (good thing the University of Scranton doesn't allow fraternities).
Regardless, I do applaud Rogan for taking an interest in his community by waging a decent campaign. I did not vote for him, but then again I wouldn't vote for any 20 year old running for municipal office. At the risk of engaging in reverse age discimination, 20 years old is simply too young for that much responsibility. I have a 19 year old daugther (she will be 20 in January), and while she is very mature for her age, I'd be more comfortable if she ran for student government than municipal office. No offense Katrina!
