RE: No family billboards for McGoff? I beg your pardon Glenn, but the only race that's over is the one where you got your ass thoroughly kicked by a well-known drunk who isnt man enough to claim responsiblity for ruining a young woman's life or participating in raising a child. Things you knew, but never said a word. What a man. You're all alike. Maybe you were the spoiler?
When you disagree ... it's always good to start name calling ... I am so impressed by the level of maturity on the part of poster Isn't that Lovely ....
Glenn should be given credit for running a clean campaign ... but this ignorant SOB faults him for that ... I don't know about the rest of you ... but I am sick and tired of politicians digging the dirt and throwing it about ... it's nice to see someone run a clean campaign ... you may have lost the political race Glenn but in my book you win a prize for running a clean campaign.

Glenn is doing the equivalent of shoveling his sidewalks in the middle of a blizzard by posting something like that at DD. I'm not thrilled by McGoff, but that doesn't blind me to the fact that he's a better choice than Rogan.
Oh, speaking of Rogan, I wonder if he ever mentions that Hazelton, with a budget of about 7 million dollars, is facing legal bills in excell of 2 million dollars as a result of "Saint Lou's" anti-immigrant pogrom?

I have been in Glenn's company once or twice in a professional situation and he seems not only like a hell of a nice guy, but a guy who can do the job he was running for. I voted for him once and would do so again, specifically because of his clean campaign.
I hate dirty politics ... when the mud slinging starts I immediately go for the guy who isn't throwing it ... Don't tell me the dirt on the other guy ... tell me what it is you intend to do to make a positive difference ... and if I agree ... you have got my vote ... I have always been that way and I imagine that I willl continue to be that way!
Glenn should be proud of the campaign he ran ... plain and simple!

The DD crew is tailor-made for politics today: they aren't interested in ideas & honest debate about issues, but instead are all about ten second slogans and being guided by a self-styled 'leader'. Whether it's Janet Evans "I'm for the people" or little Pat Rogan's "Immigrants Suck", they don't understand it if it doesn't it into a half-a-sentence phrase or comes at the end of a command from Joe Pilchesky.
I'll bet that if Pol Pot came up from Hell and dropped a few "DOn't drink the Kool Aid" and "DOherty is an evil member of SPRECTRE (damn, I meant IBM...DOh! Make that ICN)" slogans, the likes of Fay would be foaming at the mouth for him, as long as Joe said it was ok.
As for me, while I may be cheap (or so my daughters say), my vote isn't.
