Here's a link. I pity their parents, who failed so miserably raising a child into adulthood. I pity their teachers, who were given such small minds with which to work. I think she is not a strong leader as she is easily influenced by what others think and she is easily led ... if she were a strong leader she would be able to maintain an open mind ... she would make strong points ... without the disrespect ... and yes I have seen her be disrespectful at the podium ... I think she is nothing more than a little mouse ... I think she would be afraid of her own shadow ... and if it were not for the other Union leaders telling her what to say ... well she would still be standing in the back of the room asking the occassional stupid question as she did when she first stated going to council. I used to wonder how she was elected to be a leader ... well I still do ... it really amazed me at one time as I do not think she has an original thought in that head of hers! __________________ I want everyone to stop and think about one thing ... She's on an ill-advised power trip. In her mind she the savior of what, 6 clerks in the clerical union. Nancy Krake is a little mouse who prides herself on fighting the good fight over a papercut and the disfigurement from an errant staple. SECRETARIES DON'T NEED A UNION ! It's bad enough we've got teamsters who sit of their fat asses all day long, bitching they can't double-clutch because of a hangnail. Or a laborer who can't walk a hammer over to the carpenter because it's his job today to clean up bent nails. And that carpenter who can't walk fifteen feet to get pickup that hammer himself. Quit your bitching for crissakes - put in the shift you are scheduled for, do the job you are paid to do and shut the hell up already. Firefighters and policemen are a whole different breed. They go out on one dangerous call and they have earned their salary, and then some. Give them their raises and be done with it already. __________________ Stupid people piss me off !

Funny, the secretaries where I work aren't in a union. They get merit based pay - raises based on yearly performance evaluations. They all get raises and have all had their jobs for years. I can't even remember the last time we let one go. I think she got caught stealing about 10 years ago. Girl nailed it. Shut up, do your job, go home. Be accurate, efficient, and personable and I think you could remain in the secretary/clerk environment for decades. Secretaries aren't on anyone's hit list. Nancy likes to imagine that the mayor goes home each night dreaming of ways to get rid of secretaries. My guess is he never thinks about them. Ever.
