I always said Joey's so called reason for going after Doherty had to be more than the stupid ramp story he tells. This poster mentions something about a lawsuit naturally, filed by Joey against Mr. Fiorini. So now we are getting somewhere what was Joey up to that he came afoul of Mr. Fiorini? Isn't he the guy who gives (or gave until he retired i guess) permits for work being performed inside the city? So he must have refused Joey a permit for something (maybe the ramp) but why? What did Joey do to deserve a negative response? What was he really trying to build? Did he add in the ramp as a way to make the project more likely to get a approval? There is wayyyyyyy more to this ramp story than Joey is letting on in my opinion. Can anyone add any more info to this story? Anyone?

That was none other than Mayor Doherty and his denying an old, sickly man a simple handicap ramp out of retaliation for the Pilcheskys suing Fiorini's office. The Pilchesky's use of the Internet armed them, but how do you take that off someone? If I were a beast of the government kind, I'd be careful not to follow Mayor Doherty's lead.
