I love this post by Joanne Pilchesky ... they have been claiming that the cost of lawsuits that they have filed or have had filed against them is unimportant ... but I see here that it's quite a hefty sum ... and now Mrs Pilchesky has some concern about who is going to pick up the cost ... Wow ... if you people would stop acting like animals we the taxpayers would not be on the hook for the fees that you of all people seem to now have a problem with ... stop this maddness! It is you Joanne, your husband and your band of goons that have made this a problem for the taxpayers ... oh that's right I forgotthe Pilcheskyshave stated thatthey do not pay their taxes out of protest to city government ... so that must be why it's unimportant to them what the cost of these frivilous lawsuits are to the citizens of Scranton ... hmmmm way to stand up for the people!
RE: FAy Franus: Asking all the right questions Apparently the insurance company for the city of Hazleton is not willing to pay the legal fees for their litigation in defense of the illegal alien ordinance. Perhaps our city insurance company will not want to pay either for Gatelli's countersuit against the anonymous posters. Serving more than 100 posters in itself is costly at $110 per filing, and another $35-$50 each for sheriff's service.
Times Leader: HAZLETON The insurance company that defended the city in a lawsuit over the illegal immigration ordinance filed a court action today asking a judge to rule it is not responsible for the nearly $2.4 million in legal fees being sought by attorneys for the plaintiffs or to defend the city in its appeal of the case.
An attorney for the Scottsdale Insurance Company says the firm is not responsible for the expenses based on several exclusions within the citys policy.
