Yes TUESDAY's now....... I heard Joey "the leader" will be there speaking, can't wait to see him squirm since he can't edit his performance. Hear Ray is bringing the attorney General, Sam is bringing the ACLU, and Fay is bringing Meds for Janet.
Ladies and gentlemen, coming to you this fall on September 11, in it's new time-slot opposite the Jerry Springer Show, included in the new fall line-up, it's "The Janet Evans Variety Show". You'll see comedy, you'll see drama, and best of all you'll see comedic talent beyond your ...

... it's "The Janet Evans Variety Show". Tuesdays this fall.
Icant wait !!!! I am not that "passionate" about City government by any means, I mostly watch for the comedy.
It's a good thing you are mostly only watching for the comedy, since those yahoos from across the hall took over, true city business issues are few and far between, sadly. They have made City Council meetings worse than theGong Show. They are a bunch of losers.

Ditto -- welcome to all new members. Just a word of caution, only certain members are allowed to say certain things. All other threads will be removed. Just like PD, Freedom of Speech is in the eyes of the moderators/administrator.
Flower Child ... you were sent a letter when you joined that told you what this board is about ... in that it stated that you could be either edited or have a post removed ... if you pick on children here ... which you and RTP have done ... well we will NEVER tolerate that ... if you don't like that ... I'm sorry ... but it's just not the style of this site to allow anyone to pick on children ... and I will tell you this ... I have had my very own posts edited a time or two ... I didn't bitch about it and I'm the Site Administrator. GirlThursday is the one who edited me ... so I am also under the watchful eyes of the moderators ... nobody here is exempt from the rules not even me.

Oh and it was I who removed the post in question ... there were two referring to Young Doug Miller ... and as I stated ... criticize in a constructive manner but do not call names or be disrespectful to children.

There was a meeting and other than knowing that Mr. BigMouth no Action did not show up as promised (wow what a shock! NOT!) I have no other information. WhileI said I would take one for the team this week and break my own rule of never watching a meeting, I never said I would watch it live. LOL LOL I will have to <gag> force myself to catch the rerun.

I sat through most of the blather for three hours (with a few minutes break before citizen participation). It was boring as ****, until Les showed up. He was looking all FIERCE in those jeans, as usual, and I especially loved the saggy baggy waistband under the belt. Ohhh, he's like a lilly-white Steve Urkel. :::smooch::: who loves ya' baby?
Giovanni Piccolino opened citizen participation with a plea for something about sidewalks for both ends of the 500 block of Lackawanna Avenue. I only half listened, I was too busy just looking at him. He's a cutie, that one.
Jackowitz looked as thought he was going to blow a gasket. He said 'damn' TWICE.
Fay was there, but kept her big trap shut.
Marie Schumaker was there fresh from the hair-doo parlor and Dan Hubbard had on too much cologne. His mother said it was eau de skunk, but it smelled more like some cheap $hit you can buy at k-mart.
When Sister Kate came up to the podium, I left the room. Don't MAKE me watch that one. All her postulating and nonsense sets me off.
Our buddy Jim Davis was there asking a really stupid question about someone's address and while he tried to turn the tables, he only made himself look like a jackass.
I almost put a timer up just so see how long Janet rambled on and on but couldn't bring myself to do it. And ramble she did. No matter what was said, she had to add her two bits at the end. Talk about someone who likes to hear her owm voice.
