We didn't "pounce" as you put it we simply told you how things are here. I believe you are the one who reacted in a rude way, but be that as it may, as we stated before if you are unhappy here that is fine we will completely understand you not posting anymore. As to disagreeing we all have disagreed here at one point or the other. We are fine with that happening. You on the other hand seem to be the one who needs to get a thicker skin as it seems you have been offended by the concept of us, disagreeing with you. It is not personal it is simply our rules and they apply to all. As to comparison with DD you say worse, we say better, but in the end we ARE different, that is what is important. We strove to be different so we thank you for noticing. How we differ is certainly open to discussion.

We do understand what we are 'fighting' here, that's why it's all the more important to be above board in what we do. It's as simple as this: if we stoop to the tactics of serial-plaintiff Pilchesky, Milo, Granma, BoPeep & crew, we become mirror images of them...as I wrote before, same hate, different target. Personally, I have far too much hair to be Pilchesky, I don't speak in the third person, I can spell the word 'ignorant' and I'm not a man pretending to be a woman (or whatever the hell BoPeep is...).
Speaking for myself, I don't want you to leave. I like having differences in opinion and I value the fact that people take time out of their lives to post here, you included. At the end of the day though, it's not about disagreeing...it's about how we disagree. Pilchesky hates people to disagree with him or his sick 'vision' of Scranton...I'd like to think we can do better than that.

All I've ever asked from Shari is some to prove the smallest bit of proof to back up her own words. Not much to ask if you ask me, and she could PM it to any of us in confidence. What's interesting though is the fact that she will not. Why? Shari, if you don't like how you've been labeled here then you have two choices:

Actually, I don't have any motivation to prove who I am "over there". No one really cares, I'm sure. I didn't make the Judy Gatelli "hit list" and there's a reason for that. I post what I know, I don't threaten anyone, I don't expose myself to lawsuits and I don't attack anyone who does not deserve to be attacked. I excercise my right to free speech and I don't cross the line if I can help it. Sometimes it's hard to control my emotions about corruption issues, but I've done quite fine so far. My only flaw? I've been a fiddle player to. Sorry about that. As Ihave said, I was just trying to have some fun. It wasn't fun, so I just drop by now and then to see what's up. Just remember me when the city goes under. While many play there little war games, Chris Doherty is picking your pocket. I just try to shed some light on the subject. Yes, we can pounce and we do - but we do not ban posters for simply voicing an opinion. The majority of the poster here have been banned from dd for doing the same thing that you are doing here - voicing an opinion. It is your right to have that opinion and to voice it. It is also OUR right to disagree with it and to voice OUR opinions as well.

Actually, the only reason you weren't named in the lawsuit is because you didn't post in the two threads that Gatelli's attorney selected simply to harvest screen names, regardless of content. I was named in the lawsuit, and my only contributuion to those particular threads was questioning Joe's motivation. I never once mentioned Gatelli's name (in fact, I don't even thinkeither thread was about her). The fact that you weren't named has very little (nothing, actually)to do with the content of your posts. Frankly, I don't really care who you are anymore. I don't care who anyone is. The whole thing is a joke, from the lawsuits on downto the man initiating them. He hasn't changed anything with them, andhe's unlikely to change anything in the future.

We are taking Shari's word that she didn't make the list. However, since she has never told us who she is at DD, there is no way to verify that. As Ronald Reagan once said, "Trust, but verify".

Based on the lazy way Gatelli's lawyer selected names, I'm more than willing to give Lambchop the benefit of the doubt on this one.
Seriously, he simply pulled up one or two random threads from late December 2006, jotted down the names of 100 posters, and named them John and Jane Does? He went to law school for that?
