McDowell survives local court, as expected - stays on ballot An appeal will be filed first thing in the morning, as expected. Supreme Court here we come. The Opinion and Order completely ignored my wifes contention that the Administrative Code forbids McDowell from running. I can't imagine why.
1 Win (Against Cordaro) 1 Settlement (Against Jarbola, PSP, et all) 31 Losses If you are doing the math, that equates to serial-plaintiff Pilchesky winning or settling about 6.4% of his cases, loosing about 93.5%.

I want everyone to stop and think about one thing ... Joe Pilchesky is not a lawyer ... he's just a guy playing a lawyer on the internet. Please don't trust your legal needs to this man.
Serial-plaintiff Joe Pilchesky's odds of winning or reaching a settlement in another case are, based on his current track record, roughly 6 in 100. Now is that really all that good? Well...
...you have a far better chance of dying from cancer than he does of winning another case (those odds are 1 in 7) ...he DOES have a better chance of winning again than the average American does of dying from a suicide attempt (those odds are 1 in 119) ...but sadly, you are more likely to die in a car are accident (those odds are 1 in 84).
Don't fret though, it's still far more likely that Pilchesky will win another case than the average American will die via lightening strike (those odds are 1 in 79,746).

Now hold on just a minute here folks. Although he was the man behind the scenes, she was the front man and therefore the blame should be laid on her and not him, right?

I actually got a PM complaining about the councilwoman avatar. "Anything but that" I believe were the exact words. THIS Janet Evans is temporary, until I find something else.
You gotta admit, though, <------ is nicer to look at.
Paul, I saw that picture of this cute little Janet with her gold medals on my quest to find a pic of Miss Clairol.
The one I was trying to find was apicture they ran in The Times while she was politicing for State Rep. She was shaking hands on election day. It showed her with her shoulders all haunched over (completely removing her neck from sight) with that smarmy, lipless grin and the pouffed-out, punch-bowl sized hairdo. The Times only ran it once and I couldn't track it down, dammit. Now THAT one was the picture to advertise. However, Ag's avatar gives me a chuckle too.

As reported in the Scranton Times this morning, serial-plaintiff Pilchesky fails yet again with a lawsuit...this time in a bid to have Mr McGoff removed from the ballot for City Council. So by my unofficial count, that makes him:
1 Win (against Cordaro) 1 Settlement (against the Pennsylvania State Police) 32 Losses
I guess he figured he had a roll going there with the Cordaro victory. Ooops, guess not.
