Is Janet Evans going to remain silent while her so-called followers engage in this hidious racist behavior? Does she agree with Joey suggesting a Scranton citizen, a news reporter, and (apparently where it becomes a problem) a black man has no business being at a political party with a public official (a white women)? When will Evans speak out against this? When will enough be enough?

I get a little flak from some posters who don't feel it's appropriate that Stacy Brown is referred to as Uncle Tom. They say it sounds a little racist. I agree, it may sound racist, but the shoes of slavery fit. Stacy Brown's crony-fitted articles are the work of a man under the thumb of Plantation-like owners of the old South. He walks, talks and writes like a man captured by slavery. He doesn't walk, talk or write like a free man, regardless his skin color. Worse than that, he betrays each and every resident and taxpayer in the county and city with his 'water carrying' loyalty to the true cancer in our community, the Lynetts. If it looks like a man in slavery, and it talks like a man in slavery, and it writes like a man in slavery, then slavery is what it is. He could be called much worse, but until he begins to act like a free, dignifed, self-respecting and honorable man to the people who are now currently suffering from his lowly loyalty to the Plantation owner, the name Uncle Tom fits him like a glove. How that man can look at himself in the mirror and not see the dispicable and ugly servant of corruptoin that he is, is beyond me.I saw him at the Evans' party and the sight of him was truely sickening. Who invited him? That was a party for free men and women, not slaves shaclked by the loss of morality and conscience. ( Is he saying blacks are not allowed around Miss Jan? Is she ok with this "new rule"? Are the DD goons going to go along with this hideous racist attack?)

Stacy, I know you read this site. Do not, under any circumstances, ever contact me again for any interviews for any reason. I don't care what it's for. It's an insult to hear your voice, and more of an insult to read your factless, untruthful reporting. The shoe will be on the other foot soon enough. You're as much a part of the corruption in this city as the Lynetts and Doherty. I've had my fill of your betrayal and dishonesty to the people you lie to and deceive practically every day. You think it's journalism using words to play with the minds of good, hard working people in order to protect the thief in the mayor's office? The likes of you and Cole are having a good time playing games with the lives of good people. Just remember that you lowlifes have taught me that the only Golden Rule is that there are NO RULES. And, remember that you're dealing with a man more corrupt than that sissy Chris Doherty. We're bumping things up a notch or two, Unlce Tom. Soon, instead of doing the writing, you'll be doing the reading. Tell that to that boy-lover John Cole. (again is he intimating someone is a pediphile?)

His checkered career became black as the Ace of Spades in Scranton. Just as we kill the political careers of corrupt cronies, there's no reason we can't kill the journalistic career of Stacy Brown, the bearer of cancer into governmental ethics. Forty years ago an article like those he writes would be cause to pack up and get out of town in a hurry. Now, this Uncle Tom of the T-T Plantation has the audacity to walk among us at council meetings and political fundraisers. If he has the balls to do that, where's his balls to write the truth once in a while?

Stacy Brown is a professional and he can choose to respond as he sees fit to the slander layered upon him by serial-plaintiff Pilchesky. However, if I were running The Scranton Times, there are two things I'd do in response:

1. Write a story about DD that included verbatim postings from serial-plaintiff Pilchesky...sunlight makes a terrific disinfectant. Must includes: his comments about the personal lives of judges (strike their actual names), his comments about a certain city hall employee who died, his comments in the Judy Gatelli granddaughter thread, etc. Then, once all that is laid out, include a few glowing Janet Evans postings just for good measure. I think that will paint an excellent picture of just who Janet Evans has chosen to align herself with, don't you think?

2. Stop including pictures of the serial-plaintiff in any articles that mention him by name. I'm sure that, being the attention whore he is, seeing his own picture in "the fish wrap" (that is often quoted at DD) make his day.

ag, with all due respect that is exactly what they want. True it would raise awareness to how vile those self righteous bastards are but the last thing you want is them to feel like there voice goes further than their own pathetic ears.

Ignoring people like them does more damage to their sill diatribes than anything. Look at how some of them come over here to post. They love the fact that they see this as an us against them. They fail to ralize it is not us against them, but rather noraml adult behavior discussing likes and silikes in local politics compared to childish rants.

There is a reason they complain about not being able to pay their taxes. It is because they are do nothing slobs of people that have FAILED at life. They need a scape goat. They blame local politicians on all of their trouble rather than adressing the real issue; themselves.

They are helpless drifters who where born to be bitter and will die bitter. It is sad, but sometimes the truth hurts. I cant speak for Mr. Brown or any of their other targets but I am sure they brush it off. Everyone is critizied at some points in theior life. When you write for a paper, run for office or are in the spotlight then you have to take it with a smile and work for your constituents.

These idiots will never change and so be it. I can wake up and go to bed each day knowing my life is good. It is all on my own doing. When things go bad i dont blame others I look inward and find a solution. They can not do that. That is why they have fallen behind beyond the point of no retuen. If anythign we should be offering our sympothy, much like we do with Children at st. joseph's or the men and women at the PA state hospital.

For they know not what they do!

Tim,

I hear ya...and good points made & I respect your opinion. As far as damage is concerned though, I was thinking more along the lines of Janet Evans. I think that if people connected Evans + Pilchesky and REALLY SAW what serial-plaintiff Pilchesky stands for (blaming the Mayor for a suicide, etc.) then the damage would be to her.

Just a thought...oh, and I wonder if there will be any DD 'cleanups' after Ms Evans makes her much anticipated announcement?

I would rather see a list of some of the posts palstered over any campaign poster she puts up.
