Campaign Fundraisers tonight For those of you interested, Janet Evans is having a fundraiser tonight at Tripp Park Community Center, 2000 Dorothy St, from 6pm to 9 pm. Donation $20.
Washo and O'Brien are also having a fundraiser tonight from 7pm to 10pm at the Waldorf Club on E. Mountain. Not sure what the donation is.
I'm thinking you would need to pay me $20 to attend the Evans fundraiser....oh, and all the unsweetened ice tea I can drink too.

Why is she having a fundraiser? She's not running for office this year, is she?
I'd love to see the difference in actual attendance and Pilchesky reported attendance. Probably like the metric to standard temperature conversion shortcut? Double it and add 30.
That 'fundraiser' is probably a polite way to get all her minion in one room so they can discuss the foibles of her husband and she can make any explanations she sees fit. Again, would have loved to have been a fly on THAT wall.
For people who won't admit to knowing each other, the Pilcheski's sure are in the know about all things Janet Evans -- I didn't see anything about a fundraiser in any advertisements. I didn't get a phone call from the Janet Evans Fan Club. The etching on my forearm didn't even burn.
RE: Janet had a fund raiser with a great showing It was a jubilant crowd, and a thick one. Many in attendance had to stand. O'Brien, Washo, Munchak shook a lot of hands and kissed a few babies. Janet was an extremely happy woman at her birthday party/fundraiser. I'm sure she was delighted with the crowd. As the crowd listened with a heightened sense of anticipation, the longer she spoke, the more it intense it got. And then, she finally said it, "keep coming, I have a wonderful announcement to made in the future." I can't speak for the rest of the people, but my sister and I were under the impression that we paid $40.00 to hear an announcement, like for mayor. There wasn't a big announcement, but there was a big disappointment. What kind of joke was that? I wake up today not feeling too good about what happened. I can tell you where the next two tickets will go that I get in the mail. Whose brainstorm was this, Chris Evans? Many of us feel deceived, and rightfully so. She spent half her time speaking praising her son for various things, which is not what we paid $40.00 for.

RE: Janet had a fund raiser with a great showing There were a lot of shocked faces, although some seemed comfortable that Evans just pulled it over on 150 or so people. I've never seen this political move before. Bring your money for a fundraiser and a birthday party and leave without knowing what the fundraiser was for? Can you say "ambushed"? Needless to say, it won't happen twice. We all love our kids, but her glorification of her son left out dropping to her knees and bowing to him. I didn't like seeing that side of Janet Evans and I doubt others did. This was not the Janet I expected, she showed signs of weakness. She speaks about him like he's a political wizzard, apparently forgetting that she just had her ass handed to her by Andrews in the Leg. race. There are people angry with Janet Evans today, and I don't blame them.
We all thought we were going to hear this thunderous, fist pounding speeh followed by a promised bright future in Scranton, but we got egged instead. She needs to explain herself, and she needs to do it quickly. She's not that popular that she can play with the minds and hearts of the people like this.
Furthermore, I don't recall receiving an invitation. Am I not a Democrat? Am I not a regstered voter? Am I not a citizen of scranton, for whom she claims to be working?
Darryl Dawkins, from Allentown, was there, but not a constituent. Nice.
There posts concernign thsi will be met with PM's from carzy joe to watch your step. He is her "silent" campaign manager. He needs her and courtright and rogen to win,. \
Jesus, Rogan is a nice guy, i went to school with him at the U. I just don't think he is as "unimpressionable" as joe states. Joe would not like him if he wasnt a janet clone. or an anti doherty type. I wish him the best of luck, he will need it. I am tempted to email him and let him know that I will work tirelessly to make sure if he caters to joe pil at all during his campaign that he does not get elected.
Ryan has to know that these are not the "People" of scranton but rather a very vocal minority of nut jobs. If he becomes "Their" candidate he will lose plain and simple.
One last thing, I just love how those idiots think that the UofS would give him money or let his glide throug classes like some star football player if infact he does win and votes in favor of the U's issues.
These people are officially the village idiots!!!!!!!!
RE: Janet had a fund raiser with a great showing Joe, we all love Janet. We just expected to hear some really, really great news and we left without it. I don't know what strategy that is, but you're the leader. I'll fall in line and not say another word. I'll put all my trust and faith in you. You haven't lied to us yet. You're right, as usual. Wherever she's headed she'll need our support if we want her to succeed. If she succeeds, we succeed. Right?
Friedrich Nietzsche just began to roll in his grave uncontrollably!!!!!!!!
Personally I think we should make the post by 'Party Boy' a sticky here, required reading for all new posters. NOTHING does a better job of saying just how sad serial-planitiff Pilchesky and her merry band of brainwashed sheep have become.
What 'Party Boy' is describing isn't admiration for serial-planitiff Pilchesky, it's bordering on WORSHIP. Pilchesky, if he has any room left in his skull for anything but ego should be the one worried about this kind of thing. It's not just sad...it's sick.
