BREAKING NEWS: SUNDAY, AUGUST 12, 2007 12:45 PM Doug Miller, Junior Council President has been appointed as Youth Park Programs Director. The postion was createdto attract youth into city parks and develope a youth playground program.
I actually think that would be a good position for someone like Doug. It would expose him to how government REALLY works and allow him to accomplish something positive for the city.
If true, I agree that it would be a good thing. Young Mr Miller is learing quite a bit, and this sounds like the next logical step for him. Besides, these commissions tend to be filled with the same recycled faces, so some new blood would be a good thing.

Doug, please just use common sense, and act in the interests of the greater good. That would be a breath of fresh air in this city. Don't impose the will of a few at the expense of the many.
